The Royal Cane Cask Company
Top review from Kevin Sorensen 🇩🇰:
"This is a pretty good rum but I'd say the price is a bit high. You can get the same quality from New Yarmouth cheaper out there. Leave it to rest for a while for the flavours to really develop. The nose is fruity with spices, nuts and wood as well as a hint of varnish. The palate is complex, well balanced and oily with fruits, wood, nuts, caramel and vanilla. The finish is medium to long with fruits, wood and caramel."
The Royal Cane Cask Company Guadeloupe
Top review from crazyforgoodbooze:
"Guadeloupe 1998 Bellevue I had now already some but none like this: reminds me but actually of the old Courcelles from 1972 by this blatant strawberry jam and bitter orange jam note, which is rounded off by some wood, leather, vanilla, ginger and minimal orange flower water and menthol / mint and slightly bitter black tea. Very awesome and very elegant and especially unusual for this vintage! I really like it and better and better the more I drink it...."
The Royal Cane Cask Company Single Cask Rum
Top review from Kevin Sorensen 🇩🇰:
"This is a retaste and I stick to my initial score. A very unique release as its been fully matured continentally. Fruity with light wood and spices and some chocolate on the profile. The glas is wonderful an hour after emptying."
The Royal Cane Cask Company Fiji SPD
Top review from Gunnar Böhme "Bauerngaumen" 🤓:
"It's getting better and better! If the El Salvador from Royal Cane has just cut a fine figure, the Fiji goes one better! Screw the fact that it has nothing of a Fiji, it's nice and strong and just tastes good. (Although I have to admit that, unlike the El Salvador, it would be better suited to a winter evening)."
The Royal Cane Cask Company St. Lucia 2000 John Dore
Top review from Gunnar Böhme "Bauerngaumen" 🤓:
"Very inviting nose, smells like an old rum. But falls off quite a bit on the palate as a limp, woody distillate. I'm not at all familiar with the extremely expressive John Dore and I don't particularly like it. A below-average representative from Saint Lucia."
The Royal Cane Cask Company Jamaica 2006
Top review from Kevin Sorensen 🇩🇰:
"#4113 Not your typical Jamaica, more a light version on my mind. Draws nice and slow moving curtains. Lightly fruity with wood and light glue. Dry and warm on the palate. In the empty glass i can pick up some chocolate and very faint licorice. After a few hours pineapple pops out of the glass."
