"#4660 17.03.2024 Sitting at home relaxing a bit with some TV series running on the telly 😊 Nose Intense, floral, fresh, fruity, citrus, light grass. Palate Medium oily, fresh, intense, sugarcane, warm, light nutts, fruity, citrus, faint licorice. Finish Medium to long, warm, sugarcane, citrus, faint licorice. The empty glass has some light medicinal and faint anise notes. Price to quality is very good in my mind. Also a very good sipper though made for mixing. ABV is really well integrated."

"18-19.02.2022 Going through samples at home. Notes Light to medium dark in colour. Nose Fresh, Agricole, faint wood, citrus, lige grass, sugarcane, spice. Palate Round, fresh, light, Agricole, light wood, faint smoke, spice, light grass, medium dry. Finish Medium long, light wood, balanced, medium dry, light sugarcane, spice. Extra note. There is a light natural sweetness in the profile."

"Kurzurlaub auf Föhr und ein paar Rums im Gepäck 😎 Hier also ein Foursquare, der nach 8 Jahren auf Barbados noch während der Segelreise nach Europa in einem Sherry-Fass lag. Das kommt auch tatsächlich durch. Nase: der hohe ABV lässt ihm zu Beginn ordentlich in die Nase schneiden. Dann haben wie aber die typischen Foursquare-Aromen. Kokos, Banane, Vanille und Kakao. Eiche und eine feine rauchige Note, die vom Sherry herrührt. Fruchtig-würzig und leicht Sherry, würde ich zusammenfassen. Gefällig, aber etwas zu scharf. 8,0 Gaumen: fast 66%. Die machen sich bemerkbar. Ordentlich warm und alkoholisch kräftig, ohne unangenehm zu sein. Wenn sich der Gaumen daran gewöhnt hat, was etwas dauert, dann kommen nussig-würzige Aromen, Pekannuss mit Kakao, eine leicht metallische Bitter-Note gepaart mit der Süße von verbranntem Zucker und Kokosnuss. Im Abgang macht sich das Sherry Fass bemerkbar. Wäre der Alkohol besser eingebunden und der Sherry-Einfluss nicht so intensiv, könnte ich mehr Punkte vergeben. 7,8"

"Wow, the good ones just kept coming. This is a pretty young rum but it's very good and the price is pretty good as well. Nice fruits and spices from nose to finish. In the baxmck I find flowers, licorice and a hint of menthol. Lovely rum."

"Une bouteille ouverte pour l’occasion. Un nez de placard avec de la poussière et des notes de vieille cave. Très peu de nez mais on y sent du végétal et quelques fruits. La bouche est nettement meilleure avec des fruits tropicaux et du végétal. Une belle finale longue et sur des beaux amers et toujours des fruits, et cette impression de vieille corde de chanvre qui persiste. Énormément de différence entre un nez très discret et une belle bouche ample et surtout une belle finale."

"Trial 2: Reminiscent of cognac with mint, pineapple, citrus, green apple and date nut along with lots of wood and pepper. Tends to round thing but here would still be potential upwards I think."

"Considering the price tag on this bottle it is actually a very good buy for your shelf. The Agricole is there with its freshness and spices topped with some grass, fruit and peppery touch. I liked the spicy finish with the wood and vanilla."
