"Super Nase! Dunkel aber nicht modrig mit herrlicher Melange aus Fruchtkomponenten, Leder, Fass, Malz, Zitrus und Gewürzen. An Gaumen dann – den 46 % entsprechend – etwas dünn. Aber wirklich noch gut im Rahmen und lecker."

"This is a pretty good release by Moon Import. The nose is fresh and Agricole with fruits and wood, nuts and a hint of iodine. The palate is also Agricole, fresh and well balanced with fruit and light wood. The finish is medium to long with wood, raisin and a light nuttyness."

"Balanced, but ultimately a bit too tamed. Although here, as with other Moon Demeraras, the dilution does not dilute at all, but compared to other representatives from the 1990 batch is lost a little flavor intensity. Regardless, a very tasty rum remains without blemish, which raises all the more the question of what would have been possible without dilution."

"Tasting the 2020 version. Super buttery and creamy in the nose. Like Dutch "boterbabbelaars". Macadamia nuts. Taste: dry. Aniseed. Light (in a good way). Very Guyana. Probably some young Enmore + Port Mourant in here. More layered than the Barbados I had before this. Slighty more complex."

"This rum is from a secret destillery and its definitely not a Caroni. The nose is really nice and balanced with fruit and honey topped with a bit of oak. The palate has a lot more to offer than the nose and equally wonderful. A lot of fruit and sweetness from sugarcane with a tad of barrel. The finish is medium to long with orange and molasses."

"Tasting the 2020 version. Light in the nose. Citrus. Not very gluey, is it Foursquare? In taste: yes. Very typical FS. Only 45% but pleasantly balanced. Caramel. Bit of pepper. Coffee. Not bad. Lacks the wow factor. But it's still pretty good."
