Rum Guyana
Top review from Jakob:
"In the nose wonderful wood aromas paired with filigree spiciness and subtle fruit notes. Unfortunately, on the palate, the wood influence takes control, the barrel is very present, behind which fine fruitiness of the nose almost disappears and concise spicy notes and barrel tones take the reins. This definitely still has charm, but still seems to me already somewhat overlaid. For lovers of rather dry, bulky rums a good place to go, me on balance, unfortunately, on the palate aromatically a bit too narrow."
Malt, Grain & Cane for Bar Lamp Ginza and Rum & Whisky Kyoto
Top review from Thunderbird:
"This New Yarmouth from PL is significantly more present and stronger than the Lime House. The aromas are more intense and therefore it also appears more complex. In order to reach the top, it still lacks some fruit. Otherwise, another very good representative of the 94 NY"
Tortuga No. 2 (East Asia Whisky)
Top review from Oliver:
"Quite an atypical nose for a Caroni. Lots of vanilla, bourbon and nuts are added to the (rather more subtle) Caroni notes. Very accessible on the palate. A little lacking in depth for a top rating. Very well integrated alcohol."
Tortuga No. 1 (East Asia Whisky)
Top review from Oliver:
"Very pleasant and approachable nose. The typical Caroni notes are joined by a great caramel marshmallow note. Nice spice and intensity on the palate. But almost a touch too biting. It becomes more elegant with a bit of dilution."
Jamaican Rum
Top review from cigares :
"A rum tasted at the GRF in 2024. An extremely rich, almost balsamic nose, with prunes, ripe fruit, stewed fruit, vegetal notes and even a refreshing menthol. The attack on the palate is rather gentle, then the aromas become more powerful. As on the nose, an incredible balance between dark aromas and menthol. The finish is super-long and elegant, with well-integrated wood and alcohol. A great rum, with finesse and balance. I loved it and even bought a bottle."

Top review from zabo:
"Wow, I'm really excited about this wine. After some time in the glass, you are rewarded with a super development. It does everything it should and even a little more. It has the full balanced flavor with the "low" ABV without appearing thin or watered down. A very smooth and elegant rum."
Lime House Caroni 1998 HTR
Top review from cigares :
"A fairly well-behaved Caroni with a warm nose of machine shop and stewed fruit. The palate is deep and warm. The finish is long. A very fine rum, but suffers a little from direct comparison with the Velier single cask (RX1150)."

Black Cat REV
Top review from DomM:
"The nose is heavy on dark notes with limited notes of dried fruits. Herbal notes and black tea also show up to the party. On the plate this release is very well balanced an elegant. That is looking at it stand alone. In a cross tasting it feels a bit „light“ with less intensity compared to other release. Outstanding is a extra hint of sweetness and elegant herbal / tea notes."
House of Cane Jamaica Pure Single Rum <>H
Top review from DomM:
"From the freshly opened bottle, the rum starts off with intense funkiness. Very heavy on the glue and nail polish side of noses. With some time to breath it opens up end presents a nice Hampden nose. Grilled pineapple, some roasted notes and some almond paste mingling with the chemical notes as well as a sensation of freshness akin to fruit acid. Young <>Hs do work really well in book. Same on the palate: I just like this profile at this moderate age and this bottling is a good one of the vintage imo. Very rich on the palate with all the good stuff. Fruits, wood, roasted almonds and some sweetness. While intense, the chemical and glue-y notes are much less pronounced compared to the nose. Delightful stuff."

Top review from DomM:
"Very nice 2004 Clarendon. Tropical aging adds depth and tropical fruits. The slight reduction in ABV is to point, not making the rum feel diluted but puts it at an excellent drinking strength. Very nice cask of the vintage."

Top review from zabo:
"First of all, many thanks to Maria from precious liquors for the free sample. As you would expect, another successful bottling from them. You can argue about the price, but it's simply quality that keeps coming back in the bottle."
Jamaican Rum (Bottled for the Auld Alliance) LROK
Top review from zabo:
"Tasted by Marta at the Precious Liquors stand at GRF 2024. The typical characteristics of an LROK are clearly recognizable and it delivers what it should. The alcohol is not perceptible, which is probably due to the low ABV, which prevents it from achieving a higher rating. All in all, however, it is highly drinkable."
Foursquare (Bottled for VERSUS)
Top review from Kevin Sorensen 🇩🇰:
"#4961 30.08.2024-01.09.2024 Had a great time both before and after the event. Palate Balanced, fruity, light wood, faint smoke, light coconut, light chocolate, faint nougat, light banana, spice. Finish Medium long, balanced, light roasted wood, fruits, light citrus, faint chocolate, faint medicinal."
100 Aspects of the Moon #2 PM
Top review from Jack M:
"Tasted at Ian Burrell’s Masterclass at UK RumFest. For me it leads with the burnt suger profile that is typical of Guyanan rums and perhaps a Port Mourant. I had spotted the Precious Drops stand and though this might be their White Cat (particularly also because there was a second Guyanan rum which I thought could be the Black Cat). Turns out I was wrong on the bottle but right on the still and bottler - I think that’s more luck than judgement but I’ll take it! This was actually my favourite of the five tried in the blind tasting, and it had some well-heeled competition."
