"16.12.2022 Enjoying some samples at home with a good friend. Notes Very dark in colour. Nose Intense, wood, tannins, light roasted, plum, light leather, mint, spice, raisin. Palate Intense, wood, tannins, roasted, dried fruit, plum, tea, spice, anise, light leather, mint, dry. Finish Very long and warm, dry, wood, tannins, roasted, raisin, prunes, light chocolate, light mint, faint leather. Extra note. Needs to rest for a good while and has nice wood in the profile."

"A very woody nose. A hint of sweetness and caramel. A hint of strange soap. Same sensation on the palate. Very warm and woody. A double sensation, heavy and greedy at the same time. Caramel, licorice. Almost like a bourbon (very woody). A bitter finish. Finishes with a hint of spice and light pepper. Leather and earthiness. And good length. This rum could have been crushed by the wood. It's very woody, but greedy and pleasant. Very cool."

"Sympathique dégustation de Guyana aujourd'hui :) Jeune diamond continental. Malgré la réduction, l'alcool se ressent. Le profil est globalement plutôt pâtissier avec un côté amande et beurre qui me fait penser à un macaron. Un peu de fruit du verger et une fraîcheur complète le profil. Ce n'est pas ma préférence."

"A less integrated alcohol, from the smell to the finish, which kills everything else. On the nose I detect hints of moonshine, some apples, something sweet and a hint of chocolate. The taste is dominated by alcohol, wood notes and vanilla."
