"This is a lovely, round LROK from Hampden 🤤 Sooo delicious, funky, sweet… with all the solid edges of Hampden. The 69% are integrated very well, blind i would say it has approx 50%. Very pleasant to drink! "An interesting technical rum from the closed TenCane distillery formerly owned by LVMH (Moet Hennessy). Right after smelling it, the aroma evokes heavy red wine, cognac, spices, burnt honey. On the palate, burnt honey, red fruits, heavy spices, harsh red wine come out again. All rounded off with technical notes that come out more on the finish."

Není to vyloženě technická maximalita jako NROJ sada, ale příjemná řekl bych sametová technicita doplněna sílou ředidla, tropického ovoce, čokolády, černého čaje, spáleného dřeva. V závěru odejdou ostatní chutě a objeví se ryzí technicita a síla alkoholu. Jo, tohle mi chutná!"

"This Caroni is probably a bottling with a very high Light/LTR content. The typical dirty notes are missing almost completely and the remaining profile remains very flat. Has strong Spanish echoes, but there is then eg from Belize in more exciting form."

"I've had the sample for so long and am only now getting around to it... Nose: quite typical of Uitvlugt, spicy-roasty, slightly burnt with lots of lemon. Sweet-tropical with passion fruit and delicately spicy with cardamom. Green banana and metallic copper on the finish. Delicate and rather subtle on the nose, the age of 20 years is not yet noticeable. 8,2 Palate: powerful and burnt-spicy. Immediately an intense taste of soap in the mouth. Bitter lemon peel also goes well with this. Slightly salty and peppery with plenty of clove. You don't notice the age here, as it is hardly woody. Overall a little flat and too soapy for me. 7.6"

"Not too bad but I must admit I had expected more. Having tried quite a few Angostura I had hoped that the high ABV had benefitted this release. Alcohol is integrated but not well enough in my opinion. It needs to rest for a good while before you can pick up more flavours."

"Not too bad a Foursquare. The ABV could have been better integrated, but the overall impression is good. The price also matches pretty well. Fruity with roasted wood and a nice chocolate/vanilla topping. Draws nice curtains and the empty glass is pretty nice after a while."

Needs to rest for a good while to settle properly or the ABV will overpower the flavours."

"Solid Worthy Park with an unusual cigar-like aroma on the nose. The taste then tastes of toffee, dark chocolate, overripe bananas, menthol and vanilla with long-lasting tannins in the finish. Overall, however, the finish is somewhat biting and sour, hence slight point deductions."

"This rum has a very pronounced sweetness, with flavors of honey, nuts, and sweet spices. The level of sweetness is quite surprising, given that it supposedly contains no added sugar. The sweetness is said to come entirely from the PX sherry casks used during aging, it would be interesting to see how much sweetness the casks gave to the rum in the lab tests. Overall, it’s a pleasant rum with a broad appeal, likely to attract a wider audience due to its approachable and well-rounded character."

"Überraschend würzig und süß für eine so jungen agricole und gleichzeitig wenig Holz Einfluss. Erinnert eher an Sandelholz, Zimt Gebäck mit Bitterorangen Glasur und ist insgesamt recht süßlich, nussig und mild trotz des hohen Alkoholgehalts."
