"This rum has everything that makes a good Diamond in the under 100 EUR segment. Chocolate, coffee, wood, malt, a little sweetness, a little bitterness. The finish is strong but relatively short, the alcohol is quite well integrated. I'm guessing that MDS is the marque and therefore have to compare the rum with the Diamond 2008 from Spirit of Rum (RX16020). The 1st release (!) from Rumbuddy is certainly a palatable PLV cracker. By the way: I don't like the Diamond SV 2008 from Nobilis (RX18069) tasted at the same time quite as much, it's more on the herbal side."
