"A very good Uitvlugt, full of character and quite complex! He comes in nose rather fruity (papaya, heavy old yellow fruit )hence! The palate is initially sweet but quickly changes to a spicy woody, then toasted mocha-like note! Overall very smooth and elegant! The finish is woody and then quite bitter..later joins some dried fruit!"

"27.08.2022 Going through samples at home. Notes Fruity, faint wood, faint roasted, light citrus, faint floral, faint polish. Palate Light wood, fruity, overripe, pineapple, faint smoke, faint polish, faint anise. Finish Medium long, fruits, pineapple, light wood, light anise, light apple, faint chocolate. Extra note. Needs to rest for a long time or you add some water to settle the ABV."
