"On the nose, the rum is quite talkative. Everything you would expect from a Jamaican. Unfortunately, in my opinion, it can't keep this up in the mouth. I can taste a slight bitterness in the aftertaste, which I don't find pleasant. This is also the point that prevents it from getting a better rating. Unfortunately, it's not for me neat. Not bad as a mixer, but it wouldn't necessarily be my first choice."

"High Ester and PX finish always go well together. The rum seems very young and tastes very high ester. The sherry finish is rather subtly pronounced and could be more present for my taste."

"Having previously had the S.B.S Savanna in my glass, which was a divisive taste, I have to try this one again in peace. I still have a strange aftertaste in my mouth, but this one is a lot better in taste, but not necessarily an ÜberSavanna either."

"#4485 03-04.11.2023 Den Danske Whiskyfestival. Again a special meet up besides the event itself because we think it's a bit too dull. Had a great time with friends again. My notes. Nose: wood, roasted, dried fruit, herbal, plum. Palate: oily, wood, roasted, dried fruit, anise, light caramel. Finish: medium long finish, raisin, roasted wood. Empty glass licorice and light nougat."
