"Another retaste and I stick to my initial score. This is the bomb of Chairmanâs Reserve. A very intense and well balanced rum. I was very locky to get a sample and I like it a lot. The nose is intense and has smoky wood and fruit trailed by cinnamon and coffee. The palate takes off where the nose left. A warm and intense rum, yet well balanced with smoky wood, fruits and spices. The finish is extremely long and warm with smoky wood, dried fruits and spices. Price to quality can be argued, when I compare it to my other old Chairmanâs Reserve rums for which I paid less than half :-)"

"Day 24 RumX calendar What an unusual rum! I couldn't place it in any corner! St. Lucia I would never have suspected! Black Adder was almost 100% certain for me due to the charcoal residue in the glass! The flavors are more on the herbal side, but harmonize neatly as the spices provide good contrast! I like the St. Lucia very much"

"Franconian Tasting Gang on 23.11.24 at Jarek. The Chairman's from WuDramClan had to serve as a comparison to this bottling. As a conclusion for me, this rum is a little overrated. Personally, I like the bottling from WDC a tick better."

"Incredibly awesome Chairmans. Extremely intense after lychee, mango, salted caramel and not too much wood and nice spice. Alcohol perfectly integrated, extremely sweet yet complex and the finish of canned lychees."

"After pouring into the glass, the rum immediately takes possession of the surrounding air with thick, heavy swaths. Closer to the glass I find sour cherry, red berries and cassis. The fruit compote is accompanied by very pleasant and balanced roasted and barrel notes. Pleases me excellently. I have compared on the fly with some other St Lucia but this one is a blast on the nose! On the palate, the tannins clearly have the upper hand: lots of spice, oak, leather, salty licorice. The fruit is only subtly in the background and from the bitter category. The rum reminds me of old Armagnac on the palate. The ever-long aftertaste is clearly dominated by barrel and spice. I would have liked the fruits of the nose to reappear but so there is a certain break between nose and palate. The bitter notes, however, are not in the unpleasant range for my sensation. Regardless, an excellent, intense, powerful rum."

"Yummy đ đ this is powerful, kicks a punch and I really really like it! It has some similarities in intensity and heaviness to the Grand Arome - Plantation Reunion Rye Whiskey, that I also like, but this is less sweet and much better balanced and has a much much higher quality over all. The intensity is not for all and itâs certainly not a beginners rum, but I enjoy this immensely. So happy that I now got a couple of bottles of this rum as itâs getting hard to get hold of. - Getting back to this bottle every other month and⊠yummy đ - This time tasting with some rum nerds and itâs really really nice."

"Am Community Tasting NĂŒrnberg wurde das groĂe Crosstesting der Chairmanâs AbfĂŒllungen als Motto ausgerufen. Vorweg mir haben alle geschmeckt. Bis dato kannte ich nur die AbfĂŒllung von Kirsch und Perola. Ich war ĂŒberrascht das die Geschmacksprofile doch so Unterschiedlich waren und denoch kein wirklich schlechter, aber auch keiner dabei war der sich richtig von den anderen abgehoben hat. Wenn man aber sieht, was man bei Chairmanâs noch fĂŒr sein Geld bekommt im Gegenzug, muss ich echt sagen KLASSE. Werde in diesem Bereich wohl mein Sammlung ohne schlechtes Gewissen erweitern."

"06.11.2021 Another visit to "Den Danske Rom & Whiskyfestival and once again with special access and many very drunk people both days. Notes. Very nice release with good overall balance. Lightly fruity and intense with medicinal notes. Oily palate with spicy touch. Very long and warm finish."

But as it turns out, I'm not the only one who is enthusiastic about this bottling. After a brief sip while sampling: Makes you want more, goes more in the direction of the Kirsch, GotA&RumX bottlings so my first impression. Alcohol well integrated and quite drinkable."

"wow. despite the high alcohol content and the 19y incredibly horny fruity and harmonious.cherry, tangerine, allspice, vanilla, pineapple and extremely much menthol both on the nose and in the taste in absolute harmony. in addition, some fig, cherry Hubba bubba and cocoa nibs discreetly with maple syrup and wood and black pepper. If he was a tick less "burnt bitter" and woody, I would prefer but still a grenade!đ€€â€ïžđ±đšđ„"

"What an amazing nose đ A big fruitsbaskets, with some glue, a fresh note and some roasted aromas. So far my favorite from St. Lucia!! In mouth this rum continues to shine with various fruits, tobacco, leather, wood and with a high impact of licorice đ€€ The finish is quite long, dry, starts fruity and ends in a smoky wooden barrel. The alcohol is integrated well. The 58% are notable, but drinkable. This is a truthfully rum."

"Franconian Tasting Gang on 19.04.2024 In today's Chairman's Comparison the New Vibrations compete against the 6th Rum&Co. The typical Chairman's profiles are clearly recognizable in both. My personal feeling, however, is that the New Vibrations is somewhat overpriced. There are considerably cheaper bottlings that are even better in taste."

"Even as I poured it into the glass.... thought uhhh ?? Foursquare, Bourbon? Barbados? Blindly I would never have assigned it to Chairmans. Nose very chocolaty, woody, vanilla and caramel...gaaaaaanz in the background and after at least 20min in the glass some dried fruits come through. On the palate the same game but with the addition of a great spiciness of roasted nuts and vanilla from the wood. Very heavy and palatable."

"Very very awesome harmony of full proof dirty st Lucia rum and port! dried fig plays the main aroma here along with old leather couch combined with old banana peels, citrus jam and 100% cocoa and vanilla pulp along with cognac and grape notes, as well as red fruit soaked in port and lots of tannins....
