Facundo Eximo
Top review from cigares :
"A nose of vanilla and barley sugar, wood and candy. The beginning of the palate is too sweet, diluted and the middle is thin. The finish is short and soon all that's left is a taste of honey candy. A well-made rum, easy to drink, but not very interesting for all that. The empty glass reveals some well-integrated wood."
Facundo Exquisito
Top review from Kevin Sorensen 🇩🇰:
"This one is slightly better than the Eximo and the first thing is that this one has g far more wood to it. I guess many wont like the woody notes. The nose is fruity with vanilla followed by coconut and caramel. A hint of sherry is there as well. The palate is balanced and sweet with fruit and vanilla. Caramel, molasses and sherry follows. Here the oak really hits you, seriously. The finish is also full of oak, sweet and fruity with spices. Looking at the price the Eximo is the better option considering price to quality. "
Gran Reserva Especial
Top review from Kevin Sorensen 🇩🇰:
"I got this one from a friend because he wanted to tease me, but he failed because though I don't like Bacardi I was nicely surprised. The nose is light and a bit sweet. Vanilla is very obvious with oak without overpowering the caramel, coconut and honey. The palate is sweet fruity with cinnamon, peat and oak. A nice surprise and definitely one you can enjoy without mixing. The finish is medium long, warm and sweet. "
Gran Reserva Diez Aged 10 Years
Top review from Vincent D:
"Goûté après un 4 ans et un 8 ans de la même maison. Celui-ci est indiscutablement le meilleur et le seul à se rapprocher d'un rhum de dégustation. Le boisé est présent tout au long de la dégustation et amène du corps à un rhum doux et sucré. Finale étonnement longue et plus sombre. Pas mal."
Reserva Ocho Rare Gold Rum
Top review from Timo Groeger:
"This rum is quite alright. I always compare the Bacardis with the Carta Blanca, but of course this one is a stunner :-) Still tastes slightly alcoholic and woody. Quite quick on the finish. One of the better Bacardis."
Cuatro Añejo 4
Top review from Master P:
"Leicht, Honig & Vanille, helles Holz und etwas Aprikose in der Nase. Für das Alter und einen Bacardi sehr rund. Im Mund bekommt er seine pfeffrige Kante, bleibt aber schön ausgewogen - aber halt leider recht dünn und charakterlos. Klasse Zeug für Cocktails die sonst weißen Rum brauchen. Genau dafür taugt er, und das gut. Für Cuba Libre ok"
Carta Fuego Superior Spiced Rum
Top review from Timo Groeger:
"Kein besonders guter Bacardi. Hat für mich eine ziemlich neutrale Nase, überwiegend alkoholisch. Nach einiger Zeit wird diese dann süsser, Zimt, Vanille, Honig aber auch Ingwer. Am Gaumen dann Richtung spiced, aber auch noch sehr süss."
Carta Negra
Top review from Rumpalumpa:
"the color and black branding and name (negra=black) suggest a flavorful dark or maybe well aged Rum, but as its priced just as the other cheap Baccardis its obviously none of that. The taste reminds me a lot of Havana 3 years, wich I prefer though. I assume a similar age. The color comes from LOTS of coloring then."
Gold
Top review from X-Savior:
"On The Rocks: On the nose a strong apple and spice with mild alcohol. Taste is shallow with an apple and spice with a very mild oak and burn. Finish is short starting sweet and going a little bitter. I would not go out of my way to drink this unmixed. Mixed Pepsi Zero: On the nose mild apple and sweet fruit. Taste reveals a mild sweet apple taste. Finish is short with the sweetness fading to slightly bitter. Not really much better mixed but is drinkable."
Superior
Top review from Steffmaus🇩🇰:
"I remember using this one as a mixer back in 2019, where the picture is from. I would never recommend drinking this neat, but back then it went well in some cocktails, and the night in question it was used in a daiquiri. I remember it having a floral and alcoholic nose, and a flat oaky taste"
Bacardi Black
Top review from Tim :
"I like this rum a little better than a white Bacardi or Havana 3y, but of course it's nothing to enjoy neat. The smell is quite solid. Drinkable, yes, but always with an unpleasant alcoholic sharpness and very thin. There's not much more to say."
