"#4894 Whisky Live in Paris 27.09.2024-30.09.2024. Another great event meeting a lot of RumX new and old friends. This year three weren't as many new releases as in 2023, but I still had a great time. Nose Fresh, light wood, faint roasted, peat, faint smoke, fruity, spice, light nutty, light caramel. Palate Oily, light wood, light roasted, peat, light smoke, light nutts, light caramel, faint orange, light plum. Finish Medium to long, light roasted wood, light peat, light smoke, light caramel, oily, light orange, faint prunes. This is a really nice example of a peated finish that for me works really well. I think it will split waters and many will disagree with me."

"kommt selten vor dass ich eine Trinkstärke einer Fassstärke gegenüber bevorzuge, aber hier ist es eindeutig der Fall. extrem rund und harmonisch einfach sehr angenehm zu trinken. schöne Mischung aus einem tropischen Fruchtsalat mit Honig & etwas Minze und Heu, sowie einer im Geschmack vor allem im Abgang anhaltenden kakao, Kräuter und Karamell Note! sehr schön."

"25.02.2017 A nice afternoon in the basement with rum and some delicious food. Notes Light in colour. Nose Light, faint roasted wood, pineapple, ginger, herbs. Palate Light, wood, faibt smoke, herbs, light nutts, light marzipan. Finish Medium long, wood, dried fruit, herbs, marzipan."

"Just got two bottles of this rum today and I just couldn't wait for the tasting 😂 A very nice anniversary release especially when thinking about the price tag. Intense and yet smooth on the palate with nice balance between fruit and spices. Light roasted wood notes."
