#4886 Whisky Live in Paris 27.09.2024-30.09.2024. Another great event meeting a lot of RumX new and old friends. This year three weren't as many new releases as in 2023, but I still had a great time. Nose Fresh, vegetal, citrus, spice, olive, light herbal, sugarcane, light floral, faint smoke. Palate Oily, fresh, round, vegetal, olive, faint salt, faint smoke, citrus, faint grass, sugarcane, faint tar. Finish Medium long, fresh, oily, vegetal, olive, light salt, citrus, light herbal. Not a bad rum either and the price is usually pretty good at release.

Série comparative de Clairins ansyens. Nez plus net que le Sajous (54,2% 21 mois) mais bouche bien moins belle. Très aromatique au premier nez avec un très léger volatile et des fruits secs. Une bouche un peu piquante et acide avant que les fruits ne se montrent. Alcool assez bien intégré. Finale moyennement longue avec des fruits confits. Merci Dr Django pour le sample.

This is a very nice Clairin and price to quality is very good. The nose is fresh and fruity with varnish, and wood as well as light earthy and floral notes. The palate is complex, balanced and very well rounded and fresh with brown sugar, fruit, vanilla and light floral tobacco notes. The finish is medium long and sweet with dried fruit, wood and light vanilla.

31.12. 2019 Last tasting of 2019 went into 2020. Celebrating with family and friends who like rum we ended up having a great party according to my notes. Notes. Transparent in colour. Nose: fresh, intense, fruit, herbs, polish, sugarcane, floral. Palate: Intense, spicy, oily, sugarcane, polish, citrus. Finish: long, spicy, citrus, anise.
