"I was very lucky today. I stumbled upon this extremely rare bottle when picking up my latest samples and bottles. I was allowed to buy a sample, it set me back 90,- euro, but I didn't regret it. One of the best rums I have sampled in the last 30+ years. The nose is there from the start, a wonderful fruity, smoky vanilla mix. The palate was one og the most well balanced i have ever had, not too much or too little of anything. Wow, just wow. The finish lingers on what seems like forever...... 5 generations and 130+ years and this is what you get, PERFECTION! "

"Jetzt der zweite Kafferumverschnitt fĆ¼r meinen Bruder. Hat weniger Prozente (nur 30), ist dafĆ¼r aber noch intensiver im Geschmack, geht dieses Mal sogar schon Richtung krƤftigem Expresso. Kein Rum aber ganz okay."

"Not necessarily very complex but very pleasant. The alcohol is well integrated and makes the whole intense without being heady. Aromas rather on the freshness and the sweetness, with a small lime that enhances the whole. The end of mouth is not very long but presents wood and vanilla in softness."

"Au nez, cāest un rhum surprenant : trĆØs vif Ć la fois boisĆ© et acidulĆ©. Le goĆ»t nāest pas dĆ©sagrĆ©able. Mais la finale laisse un goĆ»t terreux et lui aussi boisĆ©. Ce nāest pas mon rhum favori. Mais cāest une expĆ©rience intĆ©ressante."
