"#4472 15.11.2023 Sitting here thinking about mortality while enjoying a nice rum. Lost one of my young colleagues yesterday. At the same time major changes in our company has also started thoughts running around in my head. Remember to hug and cherish your family bacause you never know when it's your time. This rum is really nice and fruity with nice Agricole notes. Well balanced and ABV is well integrated. The palate is lightly oily with some chocolate. The finish is long and warm with some nice orange. The empty glass has some chocolate and light licorice."

"Overall a typical AOC Blanc Agricole possible to sip thats probably great in a Ti Punch. On the nose it’s very fragrant with fruity, floral and spicy aromas. At the palate it’s quite strong with its 55% but also sweet and very savory with fruity, spicy and floral flavors."

"Pour un rhum de gamme permanente, ce Depaz a beaucoup de choses Ă  offrir. Le nez se pare de notes vĂ©gĂ©tales et florales, avec notamment la canne Ă  sucre, avant de laisser place aux arĂŽmes boisĂ©s, aux Ă©pices douces, aux piments et aux fruits secs. C’est Ă  la fois simple, efficace et assez complet. L’attaque en bouche est plus gourmande. Les Ă©pices (cannelle, vanille, poivre) se mĂȘlent aux noix, au chocolat noir, aux fruits secs et aux fruits exotiques pour un profil doux et bien construit. Bien qu’on ne soit qu’à 41% d’alcool, le rhum n’en reste pas moins expressif et trĂšs savoureux. La finale, d’une longueur convenable, n’est pas en reste non plus. Fruits secs, exotiques et confits, bois, Ă©pices, cuir, cafĂ© et notes vĂ©gĂ©tales se conjuguent pour laisser une derniĂšre impression trĂšs sympathique en bouche. Pour son positionnement, ce Depaz est une valeur sĂ»re qui en enchantera plus d’un, Ă  un prix aussi doux que son profil."
