"After a long time I have it now times again in the glass and am thrilled. A wonderful mix of red fruits, molasses, wood, licorice and tobacco!"

Top review from Gunnar Böhme "Bauerngaumen" 🤓:

"Strong, very aromatic blend, in which, according to my impression, the PM portion predominates, especially on the nose, which I like quite a bit. Really solid rum, full of character, but can not hold a candle to the AN and SWR of El Dorado. Update 2022-11-28: First impression fully confirmed at second tasting."

Top review from Mirko Frosini 🇮🇪:

"A great full-bodied (though low) excellently balanced rum. On the nose fruity, balsamic (resins, conifers), woody and a light note of citrus. On the palate initially the balsamic and fruity part is felt to later leave the scene to a balanced roastiness and coffee that accompanies us to the finish with woody and lychee notes. An interesting rum for those who love the balance of aromas. The low alcohol content in this case is not very noticeable a sign of a well managed abv.At the price of 150 euros it seems to me a good deal. By looking it is still possible to find very good rums without the shadow of speculation, as unfortunately happens on many Velier bottlings (also of dubious quality) that when they come out are already sold out or at inadequate prices because they are sold in parallel to a host of collectors (see Papalin arrived in not even a week at twice the price)."

Top review from Jakob:

"Tasted at the GRF in Berlin - positive surprise, because if you expect to taste a dilution in this bottling due to the not too high alcohol content, you will be proven wrong in view of the very compact profile. Very nice Guyana rum, but at a price."

Top review from cigares :

Top review from Lukas Jäger:

Top review from Daniel:

"Easy sipping dorado blend. I am positively surprised. Very drinkable. Could just have a little more steam! 🤷🏼‍♂️ The price-performance ratio could be better, but it's definitely tasty. Slight points deducted for the bitterness in the finish."

Top review from Thunderbird:

Top review from lukasdrinkinghabits:

"Serge writes in a great review: "Nose: get out of here! Brand new Pirellis, two tons of rubber bands, and your sister's bicycle inner tubes. You see the idea...Mouth (neat): Ardbeg matured in a new scuba diving suit. Plus salt and lemon. The question is, do we enjoy this much rubber?" My answer a year ago: No, I found it undrinkable! In the meantime, the profile is a prime example of acquired taste. Compared to the 2005 PMs, it really is much dirtier: acetone, rubber, a hint of smoke - behind it the typical pome fruit and fresh sourdough bread. The aniseed note of the 2005s is missing. In the mouth, Serge hits the nail on the head: rubber, brine and a hint of lemon. My answer today: yes. Or to say it with Serge: "There's bad rubber and there's good rubber. This is good rubber.""

Top review from Oliver:

"Great intensity with spice and fruitiness (papaya and tangerine) on the nose. There are also floral associations. A bit biting on the palate with spice, salt and slight bitterness from the wood. With a few drops of water it opens up a bit more and is fun!Good Port Mourant!"

Top review from zabo:
