"A rum that was somewhat under my radar for a long time - but that doesn't do the bottling justice. The <S> Marque by Diamond is quite recognizable thanks to the dominant liquorice notes. The Versailles component comes forward with minerality, plus the oak barrel with its sweet vanilla note. Clearly the best Demerara blend from Velier in my eyes."

"11.01.2020 - 12.01.2020 Splitting some samples over two days. Notes. Dark in colour. Nose: Round, wood, cherry, plum, light roasted, caramel. Palate: Oily, wood, roasted, plum, earthy, herbs, caramel, light licorice. Finish: Medium long, wood, roasted, dried fruit, licorice, earthy. Sample was from a bottle my company received as a present from an Italian supplier."

"01.02.2020 Relaxing at home with some samples I got from a friend. Notes. Light in colour. Nose: Fresh, light wood, fruity, floral, light mint. Palate: Wood, floral, mint, medium dry, light licorice, spice, light nutts, citrus. Finish: Medium long, wood, mint, licorice, dried fruit."

"10.02.2018 Having a great tasting at work with nice colleagues. Notes Light in colour. Nose Wood, roasted, citrus, plum, vegetal, light honey. Palate Oily, wood, roasted, citrus, spicy, grass, medicinal, anise. Finish Long and warm, wood, grass, anise, light raisin. Extra note Needs to rest for a good while before giving it a go."
