The Spirit of Art REV
Top review from Jakob:
"According to the current state of my personal REV king. Pronounced plum notes and subtle tobacco accompanied by noble dark notes of leather, licorice and wood. The comparison of the 1994 REVs is the rum version of the clash of the titans - who has something for the heavy sweetness, the trenchant plum notes and the tart barrel influences that make up this Marque, has certainly great joy in the cross-comparison as I do. And depending on individual taste, other frontrunners are definitely possible here - in the overall package, I see the V"

Top review from Oliver:
"My REV reference! 🤓Suspenseful lavender notes on the nose. The typical prune note is rather subtle. Great roastiness that goes in the direction of coffee. Then intense and creamy on the palate. Dry with just the right amount of bitterness. Those who like black tea will love this profile. The finish brings back memories of Guiness. By the rather more restrained plum (compared to other REV bottlings) this bottling fully meets my taste! Rightly so, the RumX community has chosen this rum as "Best Rum 2022"."

Top review from Zucker und Zeste:
"Komplex und kräftig in der Nase und am Gaumen. Dörrpflaume, Kräuter, Gewürze und kräftige Fassaromen wechseln sich ab. Der Alkohol ist wunderbar eingebunden. Hat uns richtig Spaß gemacht. Toller Rum der richtig Spaß macht!"
Guyana Single Cask Rum REV REV
Top review from zabo:
"Once again an absolutely more than successful bottling from TheRumCask. I am enthusiastic about one of the best REVs from 94. For the price, I think the performance delivered here is completely justified."
Demerara
Top review from Johannes:
"Super complex! Great Versailles with a deep, woody, slightly bitter, spicy Black Tot note! Tasting on 13.10.23: unfortunately there is virtually no other 86 Enmore for comparison. Charles has solved the mystery behind the rum. In terms of taste, this must be a KFM! It's quite similar to the Flensburg 91, but much fruitier due to the shorter ageing period. An excellent rum that is second to none!"

Top review from cigares :
Rum Sponge No. 15
Top review from Jakob:
"Wow! Enmore at its finest: licorice, leather, plum, wood...positive surprise! For me, in the absolute top group of 1992 Enmores, because here, despite the many heavy flavors, an almost filigree profile is created, which comes along a little less heavy than the other releases, but exactly by this "lightness" in a positive sense independence. Downright noble - or simply excellent."

Top review from Gunnar Böhme "Bauerngaumen" 🤓:
"A tick better than the KFM of the Flensburg Rum Company (RX7441), aged 2 years shorter. A little fruitier, a little oilier, a little stronger (but also higher ABV). There aren't many '91 KFMs, but they're just almost universally high quality, though by no means inexpensive. Thanks to Dom for the sample."
Bellamy‘s Reserve MER
Top review from crazyforgoodbooze:
"Definitely on par with the predecessor 94 REV from Bellamys. Flavors a little more cassis, more burnt caramel, dark chocolate and rosemary / lavender, as well as dried fig and grapefruit peel. Also very tasty but really hard to say which one I like better!Flavor-wise this one is a bit more intense and has the longer finish due to the more %, but the other one is a bit more complex if you let it and has the nicer nose. Both at eye level!"
1988
Top review from Jakob:
"Classic profile of the 1988 Enmores, heavy dark fruits meet wood, leather and spice. Holds its own in direct comparison with other releases of the vintage very successfully, only the last tick of intensity is missing something for me."
S.B.S Guyana REV
Top review from Jakob:
"Not quite on the outstanding level of the other bottlings from 1994, which could possibly also be due to the lower alcohol content and the associated, somewhat reduced aromatics - but REV nevertheless remains an outstanding marque that knows how to convince constantly."
Flensburg Rum Company Guyana (Kirsch Whisky) KFM
Top review from Johannes:
"Compared to its 2020 predecessor, much more balanced and not as bitter. Nevertheless, borderline bitterness in the finish. Meanwhile, I can handle it better, however, and no longer find it annoying. Makes absolutely fun!"

Top review from Jakob:
"Great continental Enmore. Heavy fruit, crisp wood, spice and subtle sweetness form a flavor profile that is absolutely thrilling, even in direct comparison with other Enmores from 1992. Great selection."
El Dorado Rare Collection EHP
Top review from crazyforgoodbooze:
"Surprisingly fruity, fresh enmore! Very unusual, almost Spanish in style! Raspberry, mint, orange peel, glue and plum on the nose, less wood than expected. then fig, light coconut, raisin and wood and grapefruit on the palate. in the finish the raspberry comes back with mint, grapefruit peel, bitter orange, tannins and black tea notes. plus slightly charred barrel notes and really balanced! one of the best enmores so far! You could almost blind pack it with foursquare or Antigua... Really cool stuff... I think it's fantastic. Absolutely underrated!"

Top review from Zucker und Zeste:
"A great rum that shows what an old Enmore has to offer. Already in the nose it is intense and powerful. The fruitiness comes through very well. The alcohol is incredibly well integrated."

Top review from Kevin Sorensen 🇩🇰:
"16.12.2022 Enjoying some samples at home with a good friend. Notes Very dark in colour. Nose Intense, wood, tannins, light roasted, plum, light leather, mint, spice, raisin. Palate Intense, wood, tannins, roasted, dried fruit, plum, tea, spice, anise, light leather, mint, dry. Finish Very long and warm, dry, wood, tannins, roasted, raisin, prunes, light chocolate, light mint, faint leather. Extra note. Needs to rest for a good while and has nice wood in the profile."
Rumclub Private Selection Ed. 39 Guyana REV
Top review from RumTaTa:
"Tasting in parallel with the Nobilis RX12424. The nose brings typical Guyana REV notes. First and foremost, dried dark fruits, oak, toasted aromas, burnt sugar and malt. The Nobilis seems a tad more intense. On the palate, the roasted notes increase again and dominated the first impression. Gradually, the other components shine through and create a balanced picture. The finish is the most interesting for me because wonderfully spiced plum jam and raisins appear here. Bitterness is also there but within reason. This is the kind of rum I like to enjoy in winter in front of the fireplace. This rum is confusingly similar to the aforementioned Nobilis possibly the alcohol is better integrated in the Rum Club Ed 39."
Flensburg Rum Company Guyana REV
Top review from Mirco:
"For me one of the highlights of the German Rum Festivals 2023. Compared to other 1994 Enmore REV it is quite flat, but undoubtedly a sensational bottling that is a lot of fun. Much more complex than the new vintages."
No. 10 (Rum Exchange) KFM
Top review from Galli33:
"It‘s a good one! Maybe it‘s diluted, because i was missing the power… the finish is really short, only the wood notes remain. Very impressive enmore nose, fruity, woody, nutty, leather, some fresh minty/licorice notes and a lot of rubber. Lovely nose😍 All these notes continues in mouth. In addition i found some notes of apricots. The finish is quite unspectacular short. All these notes disapper after some seconds, the wood is the only taste which remains. It‘s a good KFM 91, but can‘t keep up with the KFM‘s from Flensburg."
Guyana Single Cask MEC
Top review from Jakob:
"Nice, heavy demerara. Alcohol is cleanly integrated and the notes of wood, leather and spices are nicely balanced by light fruit notes. In direct comparison with other releases a bit too shy in expression, a little more spiciness would have suited the rum well - so the heavy sweet notes remain without significant counterpart. Given the quality of this heavy sweetness, this is undoubtedly grumbling at a high level; for an even better rating, however, lacks precisely at this point still some aromatic variety."

Top review from crazyforgoodbooze:
"Liquid Paulaner Spezi!😃Very tasty, even if I would never have guessed enmore here, let alone port mourant. Very intense sweet fruity notes almost like a spezi (cola + orange). Keyword cola cacher!"

Top review from Galli33:
"Very cool dark color 😎 Nose: Amazing notes of tobacco, oak, licorice, leather and a lot of rubber. I found some dried prunes and raisins too. After 20-30 min. of resting, I found some cool notes of cumin😜 On the palate: Woody, salty and bitter, oak (a lot of woodiness), herbal notes, minty, black tea, leather and licorice. Finish: Is quite long and bitter, without getting astringend. It’s more one the enjoyable side😜It’s like a woody cocktail (with all the various notes) with some pencil shavings as crumbles 😜"

Top review from Oliver:
"Very inviting nose with dried apricots, raisins and delicate chocolate notes. The palate can then unfortunately not quite keep up with the fantastic nose. Slight alcoholic spiciness perceptible - was briefly even with unsweetened, Spanish style at barrel strength. But that is criticism at a high level. Relatively dry, spicy and pleasant wood notes.Very nice Enmore!"

Top review from Oliver:
"Opens properly after an hour. More barrel influence than the Our Rum & Spirits. Nice apricot note which harmonizes with the typical pencil profile. Great 1990 Enmore. I like it very much!"

Top review from Thunderbird:
"Blindtasting Enmore 1990 Nr.2: An der Nase recht verhalten und schwach wahrnehmbar..dezente Würz- und Kräuteraromen. Am Gaumen anfangs eine Süße und deutlich mehr ABV, was den Aromen zu Gute kommt. Der Abgang ist mittellang undklassisch auf der würzig kräuterigen Seite Edit: Beim gestrigen Blindtasting babe ich diesen Rum 0,2 Punkte nach unten korrigiert"

Top review from DomM:
"While I was quite disappointed with the freshly opened bottle and had to deducte a couple of points from my initial rating, a few weeks oxidation really help this Enmore. Alcoholic bite is gone and fruitiness is much more intense alongside a mild sweetness. Therefore score is up a couple of point again 😅"
