Greenheart REV
Top review from DomM:
"Excellent stuff - top notch bottling of the 94 REVs vintage imho. Delivers on dark, woody, herbal and fruity notes on the nose as well as on the palate. My only critic here is the relatively low proof, which manifests in a bit less power on the palate versus other bottlings."

Top review from TheRhumhoe:
"Very pretty nose, typical of Versailles. Big herbaceous notes of thyme and tea fill the nostrils with freshness, followed by notes of pencil shavings and resinous sap. The oak is discreet, while the spices show the tip of their nose with anise, licorice, pepper and smokier notes of incense. Citrus zest and prunes make way for medicinal notes ranging from beeswax to polish. A remarkably deep and complex nose. The attack on the palate is very pleasant. The oily, refined character blends well with the depth and complexity of the aromas. Flavors of aromatic herbs, tea, pencil shavings and tobacco appear on a more earthy, vegetal bent, followed by a profusion of spices ranging from licorice, anise, cloves, pepper and vanilla. Toasty oak goes hand in hand with leather, which lends a bit of bitterness with the herbs. Molasses, honey and caramel add a little sweetness to this subtle but very complex profile. The alcohol is very well integrated. The finish is rather delicate and refined, but lingers on the palate with herbaceous notes (thyme, tea), dried fruit (grape, apricot), pencil and tobacco notes, oak and caramelized notes leading to molasses. The spices are relatively mild, but tantalize the palate with rather seductive touches of honey, toast and salt. A superb antique Enmore, of which there must be very few left on earth."

"Yet another very nice 94 REV. More on the woody side with a sensation of sweetness black tea. Only some hits of dried fruits on the palate with an extra bit of bitterness on the finish. Delivers all you would ask for, nevertheless."

Top review from Jakob:
"On the nose, predominantly dried fruit and subtle spice and wood notes. On the palate surprisingly present, slight bitterness, plus the obligatory prune, leather, licorice, wood, also caramel sweetness - compared to the other 2006s with the most bitter note, although this remains for me still in good balance. Aromatically quite with appealing complexity. Next to the SBS my favorite, because here compared to the quite round SBS also a few more corners and edges appear, which makes for pleasant tension. Compared to the 1994 representatives with much less heaviness, the plum notes occur here rather in tandem with currant, the dark tones of wood, licorice, leather and caramel are much less pronounced. I am inclined - despite the aromatic complexity of this bottling - to speak of "REV Light." While the spectrum of 2006s also has its charm and the character is undeniably recognizable, in my eyes the REV profile benefits extremely from the long aging and resulting complexity. However, the reference points can also be described as almost unfair for the younger bottlings, especially for proven lovers of the 1994 REVs. As an entry into the fascinating world of heavy Demerara profiles but one of the best options, in particular, because the price points here are usually still within tolerable limits."

Top review from Jakob:
"Clearly more intense than other releases from the 88 Enmore batch. Aromatically fully present with both the dark notes of old Demeraras full of dried fruit, leather, licorice and old wood, plus present spicy notes and some roasted aromas - all in great balance. Very good, one of the top representatives of the vintage."

Top review from Kevin Sorensen 🇩🇰:
"Had a wonderful tasting event yesterday with only good CDI rums. This one is the second one of the six. This is a delicious rum bottled for the Danish Market. A strong rimum with a nice punch in the flavours. A true Enmore rum no doubt about that. A very well integrated proof but you may want to add a drop of water or maybe two. "

Top review from Joachim Guger:
"A warm, full nose. Very mature, smooth and balanced. Complex and spicy. Wood, burnt sugar and spices in the mouth. Not particularly powerful (but far from watered down). Nice finish. A nice, archetypal Demerara, quaffable and enjoyable. For higher consecrations but then lacks the special."
No. 8 (Cavavin Belval) VSG
Top review from Jakob:
"Nice, classic Versailles profile with excellent balance of pencil shavings, tea, citrus, wet wood and tart spice notes of pepper, licorice and anise. Definitely brings in rough edges, resulting in an exciting complexity as none of the notes swing out negatively. The VSG 90 profile is of consistently high quality, to which this bottling also impressively testifies."
Demerara Rum
Top review from Serge:
"Super Nase! Dunkel aber nicht modrig mit herrlicher Melange aus Fruchtkomponenten, Leder, Fass, Malz, Zitrus und Gewürzen. An Gaumen dann – den 46 % entsprechend – etwas dünn. Aber wirklich noch gut im Rahmen und lecker."

Top review from Thunderbird:
"This is Versailles as he likes! Despite the long storage, the wood is not too dominant, herbs, leather, vanilla, anise and covertly some dried fruit are perceptible. In addition, clearly also pencil shavings. Creamy and soft, the alcohol is perfectly integrated. Only the complexity is missing, but that is complaining at a high level."

Top review from Kevin Sorensen 🇩🇰:
"20.07.2019 Nice private blind tasting where we put tinfoil around the bottles we brought. That ended up being a great evening. Notes Light in colour. Nose Wood, light roasted, medicinal, plum, raisin, light marzipan and coconut, faint licorice. Palate Wood, light roasted, naturally sweet, licorice, light nutts, plum, light chocolate, medicinal. Finish Medium to long, wood, cherry, light citrus, nutts, light licorice."
