Top review from LukaŽiga:
"8,5:On the nose, the first impression is rich and powerful, a bit perfumed with notes of toffee, nougat, vanilla, chocolate, coconut, dates, tobacco and macadamia nuts, minimally caramelized with strong molasses. There are some roasted nuts, soy sauce, leather, medicinal notes and a resin. When aeration, it becomes a bit smoky and is vegetal with camp fire, heather, really Islay whisky like.A very complex rum. 8,5:On the palate, the first attack a salty taste (salted butter caramel), very agricole like, then grilled meat, a bit ashy and dark chocolate, we could say umami, is round, balanced. It becomes spicy, vegetal, with a camphor. We find our strong liquorice candied, molasses mixed with soy sauce. Later we get some tonka beans and cinnamon. 8,2:The finish is fresh, bittersweet, woody, spicy with licorice, perhaps some resin, even juniper notes and a hint of caramel, blackcurrant. What an unexpected, pleasant surprise!👌"

"Won a sample set of the 4 new Sea Shepherd from Kirsch. THANK YOU 🙏. Here is the tropically matured molasses sugar cane juice rum from Brazil, with a finish in an Amburana wood barrel... Nose: caramel-fruity with a spicy note of pipe tobacco. Dried apricot and fig, plus banana and papaya. Scented wood with vanilla. Full-bodied and very pleasant. 8.2 Palate: Herbal and spicy with a fruity, woody sweetness. Cardamom with nutmeg and coriander and a light note of sour cherry and raspberry as well as chamomile, hay and sesame. The pipe tobacco comes through subtly at the back. A little too much cardamom, otherwise interesting. 7,6 Unusual but good blend of molasses and sugar cane juice and then Amburana wood."

Top review from Thunderbird:
"I find the nose extremely weak. I perceive light herbal and spicy aromas, as well as some hidden vanilla. The rum is somewhat more present on the palate. It is light and smooth, with a slight sweetness at the beginning, followed by cinnamon spices, some fruit and wood. That fits. The finish is on the woody, herbal side. A passable bottling"
