"#4940 Whisky Live in Paris 27.09.2024-30.09.2024. Another great event meeting a lot of RumX new and old friends. This year three weren't as many new releases as in 2023, but I still had a great time. Nose Balanced, light wood, fruits, berries, faint honey, light vegetal, faint mineral. Palate Round, light cognac, light vegetal, faint wood, fruits, berries, light mineral, faint caramel, light sugarcane. Finish Medium long, fresh, light wood, berries, faint caramel, light citrus, sugarcane, light vegetal."

"Un rhum de gamme permanente avec pas mal de cachet. Le nez laisse s’échapper de belles notes fraĂźches et herbacĂ©es qui embellissent les fruits, assez prĂ©sents dans les narines (raisin sec, fruits rouge, banane, ananas). Le boisĂ© est lĂ©gĂšrement Ă©picĂ© et mielleux, offrant pas mal de douceur. Un profil pas trĂšs complexe mais assez variĂ© pour ĂȘtre apprĂ©ciĂ© par les amateurs. La bouche fait parler le fĂ»t de cognac avec les Ă©pices (piment) les fruits secs et le raisin. On a un profil assez marquĂ© sur la mĂ©lasse, le caramel, les fruits confits et le sucre brun. MalgrĂ© la douceur, le profil reste sec, lĂ©gĂšrement toastĂ© mais plutĂŽt avenant. L’alcool est bien intĂ©grĂ©. La finale paye cette douceur avec une longĂ©vitĂ© assez courte. Les marqueurs prĂ©cĂ©dents reviennent globalement : le cognac et les fruits secs sur le raisin, le boisĂ© sec, les Ă©pices (vanille, piment) et le cĂŽtĂ© doux et caramĂ©lisĂ© sont dominants.
