La Flibuste
Top review from Kevin Sorensen 🇩🇰:
"I wouldn't say this is a watered down rum, but it's extremely well balanced and well rounded and in a tasting this should take spot one. Fruity and nice wood well balanced with spices. The alcohol is barely noticed."
La Flibuste
Top review from Kevin Sorensen 🇩🇰:
"This is one of my new samples I got and I had great expectations, because Flibuste is a name that comes with a note saying "Ultra Top Shelf" in my mind. My expectations were met to the fullest. The nose well balanced, sweet and definitely Agricole with fruit, vanilla and cane. There is a very light note of wood. The palate is complex, sweet and very well balanced and typical Agricole with fruit, spices, cane, chocolate with light notes og wood and nuts. The finish is medium to long and sweet with dried fruit, chocolate and spices. Leave to rest for a while to get all the notes and save the empty glass for later nosing."

"28.05.2021 Relaxing at home with some nice samples. Notes Dark in colour. Nose Wood, plum, spice, light honey, light chocolate, faint licorice. Palate Balanced, complex, fruity, plum, light cherry, floral, medium spicy, medium dry, wood, faint smoke. Finish Medium to long, wood, light prunes, light floral, medium dry, light spicy."
La Flibuste
Top review from Oliver:
"On the nose, lots of plum and pleasant Christmas associations - concentrated and dark. Then dangerously quaffable and smooth on the palate. The sweetness seems a bit on the nose - almost like a shot of prune juice. Perfect as a relaxed, liquid dessert, though."
Cuvée Privilège Pour Lulu
Top review from Kevin Sorensen 🇩🇰:
"I have already ordered the latest release of this wonderful Agricole Well rounded, balanced and complex. Less powerful than the Flibuste, but in a very pleasant way. Fruity with nuts and spices well balanced with the oak and tobacco."
Créolita
Top review from Émile Shevek:
"The nose is intriguing with toasted hazelnuts, wood, red and dried fruits, then tobacco and custard. The palate is oily and enveloping, with sweet notes of dates(perhaps even apple and agave syrup) and cream, then spice/pepper, cashews and some toasted wood on the finish. The alcohol profile is reminiscent of a fine grappa. In the aftertaste that lingers for a long time, a very good, dry hint of wood. Overall it is quite simple, but with a distinct personality. I prefer the aroma to the taste. In the empty glass seasoned and dates. If it had not had that pungent alcoholic note it would have been a 9, it sins in roundness."
La Digue Récolte
Top review from Kevin Sorensen 🇩🇰:
"This one was a huge surprise and the price to quality is very good. The nose is very fresh and floral with fruits, sugarcane and a light medicinal note. A true Agricole nose and not for beginners in my mind. The palate is velvety and well balanced. Again very fresh and floral with fruits, anise, sugarcane and a touch of grass. The finish is medium to long with sugarcane and vegetal notes and a hint of medicinal notes."
Rivière Bel’Air Récolte
Top review from Kevin Sorensen 🇩🇰:
"12.09.2020 Nice evening with family and a few friends. Notes Transparent in colour. Nose Fresh, light, light vegetal, light olive, sugarcane, light tomato, floral. Palate Round, oily, fresh, light floral, naturally sweet, light salty, vegetal, faint mineral. Finish Medium to long, lightly dry, light floral, light floral, herbs, round."
Cuvée Privilège Pour Lulu
Top review from cigares :
"Un nez de vieille cave humide. Une bouche végétale avec toujours la cave humide, une bouche plutôt fermée. Il manque quelques watts mais surtout la finale est décevante. L’impression qu’il y a eu un mauvais fût dans le lot. Regoûté et je me trouve trop sévère, même s’il manque des watts, le rhum est doux et raffiné. La finale n’est pas si mal avec du poivre. Ouvert il y a une année, l’oxydation a fait son travail."
Rivière Bel‘Air Récolte
Top review from Galli33:
"This is a solid rhum blanc! I like it neat, but the best option for this one is the Ti’ Punch😏 for sure! Nose: Classic agricole profile, with a hint of lemon and rasperry. Mouth: It’s more on the grassy side with some lime. In the background I noted some rubber notes 😏 The alcohol is integrated very well. Finish: Medium long. A bit astringend at the begining, but it disapears after a minute and all the other flavours come through"
Millésime
Top review from Stefan Persson:
"This is my first “La Favorite”, and sorry to say I’m not impressed. The nose is extremely weak, hard to recognize any aroma at all, not even after warmed up in my hands. In mouth it’s the same initially, but after resting a while it’s was possible to recognize the tastes. The finish is quite long and tastes the same as at the palate."
Sélection de fûts
Top review from Kevin Sorensen 🇩🇰:
"18.12.2021 Participating in a nice tasting given to me as a present. Nice hotel in a very central location. Notes Medium to dark in colour. Nose Fresh, light wood, faint roaster, floral, light grass, floral, faint honey. Palate Round, fresh, light wood, naturally sweet, ligh grass, faint caramel, light nutts, light citrus. Finish Medium long, fresh, light wood, fruits, citrus."
La Digue Récolte
Top review from Kevin Sorensen 🇩🇰:
"Normally I don't drink a lot of rhum blanc but I do really like those from La Favorite. They have a tendency to have a general high quality. This one had to rest as well before it really let go of its potential. True Agricole flavours with grass, super fresh and lightly fruity with spice, cane and licorice topped off with a peppery edge. Long warm and spicy finish, i like it a lot actually. Price to quality is super good. Looking forward to the 2019 and 2020 in the next tasting meetup."
Brut 2 Colonnes
Top review from Kevin Sorensen 🇩🇰:
"I had to let this one rest for a while before it revealed itself to me. The ABV will soften after 15 minutes and on the palate it is also softened compared to the first sip and swish. Fresh floral Agricole with fruits, cane and spicy notes. Lightly bitter from the medicinal notes but very well balanced. The ABV doesn't hit your palate right away, but it'll get to you eventually :-) Great rum and the price to quality is very good."

"#4781 17.07.2024 Relaxing with some unaged samples. Nose Fresh, fruits, light citrus, spice, light vegetal, light floral, sugarcane. Palate Fresh, round, balanced, light vegetal, citrus, faint floral, spice. Finish Medium long, light olive, faint salt, light vegetal, citrus. The empty glass has light mango and some vanilla."
Coeur de Canne
Top review from Rhum Mirror 🇧🇪:
"Intense nose of fresh cane, very fruity. In mouth it is also very fresh and lemony. It is sincere but above all very convivial... and even more so in Ti-Punch! Available everywhere and for this tasting, tasted at - 35€.this Coeur de Canne allowed to relax the atmosphere while watching the small descriptive video! Show must go on ..."
Coeur de Canne
Top review from TheRhumhoe:
"A very nice white agricultural rum that draws on a very vegetal and floral profile on the nose, earthy and herbaceous notes mingling with hay as well as the fruity aromas of citrus (lime) and sugar cane, whose sweetness brings a lot of sweetness. The attack on the palate is more intense and biting, with notes of pepper and chili bringing a spicy side that counterbalances the vegetal and floral predominance in the mouth. Fruits, especially citrus, are not far behind. The finish, quite long, leaves this impression of fresh and dry wind, pitted by spices and enhanced by citrus. A rum that would do wonders in Ti Punch."
Brut 2 Colonnes
Top review from Kevin Sorensen 🇩🇰:
"#4065 Looking at the ABV you usually prepare yourself for a kick or bite. With this rum you get a surprise because once rested it's deceptively fruity and has natural sweetness to it. Well balanced and great ABV integration once rested. Oily and warm palate and very nice curtains. The empty glass is very nice and fruity with some metallic notes."
Exploration N°3
Top review from Timo Groeger:
"La Roue des Rhums Adventskalender 2023 Nr. 23. Hier ein La Favorite. Für mich hat er eine überwiegende Weinnase, Rotwein würde ich sagen, aber von Wrin hab ich keine Ahnung. Am Gaumen dann viel Holz, außerdem Gewürze und pflanzlich."
Navigation 2021 - Cuvée No 1
Top review from crazyforgoodbooze:
"Trial 2: Reminiscent of cognac with mint, pineapple, citrus, green apple and date nut along with lots of wood and pepper. Tends to round thing but here would still be potential upwards I think."
Rhum Agricole Blanc L’Authentique
Top review from Korkennase:
Top review from Kevin Sorensen 🇩🇰:
"This is a very accessible Agricole and I think most Ca actually drink it. The Agricole flavours are very subtle. Lightly fruity with spices and some chocolate and toddee. I noticed that after a few hours the glass had a wonderful nose."
Privilege Hommage à André Dormoy
Top review from Galli33:
"#23rd dec RumXCalendar Blind tasting: Nose: sugarcane, pastries, floral, vegetal, grass, spicy, nutty, hazelnut Mouth: dry, light, thin, agricole, vegetal, tea, pastries, hazelnut Finish: mid long, dry, sugarcane, grass, cucumber, mild My prediction: I think it’s from martinique again, but i’m not familiar with that mix of pastries, nutty notes… approx. 40% approx. 5-10years of aging"
Coeur de Canne

"15.10.2021 A nice evening with good friends at a local tasting. Notes Medium dark in colour. Nose Fresh, sweet, light wood, light tannins, sugarcane, Agricole, fruity, light citrus. Palate Fresh, round, light wood, sugarcane, light citrus, faint cherry, faint caramel, Agricole. Finish Medium long, light, wood, fruits, spices."
Coeur de Canne
Top review from cigares :
"Dégustation chez J. B. Labat. Un nez léger sur la boîte à cigares (cèdre et tabac) des herbes et un côté terreux. La bouche est trop acqueuse, toujours les notes de boîte à cigares, désherbes macérés et un côté racines/terreux. La finale est bien trop courte."
