"I tried this rum at a local bar… Nose: Sweet Mound: Rounder, not so sweet, but, soft rum. Finish: Short, alcoholic I didn’t like it much, because it’s not the kind of rum I’ used to drink. I can recommend it to beginners."

"It’s first aged for 3 years in teak barrels, then for 4 years in ex-Bourbon oak barrels and finally finished during one year in former Sherry barrels. Overall a little bit better than expected, but unfortunately a little bit too sweet for my taste. "

"Mmmh, had somehow expected something else. The nose is all liquorice. Brown sugar is added on the palate, but you can really only taste liquorice. I find this rum a little too sweet."

"there's not much for me to say, it's not rum but a spiced flavored with kumquats. of course, the fruit is very present and takes up all the space, as do oranges and mandarins. But there's nothing else! it's light, watery, sweet, a bit meaningless. I'm really not a fan of spiced, either too sweet or completely ghostly! It's just right to get beginners started."

"Auf jeden Fall besser als das Lakritzezeug. Hat nur eine ganz leichte Nase, schwer zu erkennen, für mich Vanille und Karamell, sowie etwas Banane. Im Gaumen lässt sich dann zusätzlich noch eine fruchtige Note erkennen."
