"A mild aroma and taste of smoky cask, caramel, chocolate, raisin/red wine and vanilla. Slightly sweet, moderately complex, a little smoky spiciness, but very round and harmonious. A Spanish-style rum that deviates somewhat from the standard and has a strong woody and earthy tobacco character. Until around 2016, this rum was labeled with a port wine finish, after which it was said to have been aged in American and French oak barrels. No idea if the current version still saw port casks, but some red wine is hinted at in the profile."

"This is an OK rum for sipping and also a good rum for beginners. The nose has orange and maple whe poured and once rested for a while you get brow. Sugar, nuts and cinnamon. The palate is kind of light and sweet with oak and vanilla and a bit of nuts. The finish is medium long with oak and cinnamon."

"A slightly clashed nose, a little alcohol, Port and sweetness. Spices and vanilla. Very spicy on the palate, still with Port. Correct length. A good rum, even if it lacks depth and watts. Wood, smoke and Port remain in the empty glass."

"The nose is quite exciting, in addition to the expected sherry and vanilla notes comes through here also some mint. In the mouth, unfortunately, it comes a bit unharmonious, on the one hand is sweet sherry and on the other something unpleasantly toasty and charred."

"21.05.2022 Sampling at home. Notes Medium dark in colour. Nose Light, light wood, sweet, fruits, caramel, light chocolate, dried fruit, light orange. Palate Oily, sweet, light wood, caramel, dried fruit, light orange, faint chocolate, port, vanilla. Finish Short to medium, sweet, oily, light wood, orange, light caramel, port, light chocolate. Extra note. This is a very sweet rum and I have been using it as dessert rum or for baking&on ice cream."

"Na ja, jetzt nicht der beste Rum, aber ganz okay, finde ihn aber doch etwas zu süss. Hier hat man Vanille, Schokolade und Karamell in Nase und Gaumen. Trotzdem spürt man den Alkohol dich etwas zu sehr. So lala."

"Very pleasant on the nose with sweet dried fruits, vanilla and nice round molasses. The round sweet palate is filled with raisins, dried fruits, sweet caramel, some milk chocolate and vanilla. This is a really nice sipper if you enjoy the spanish solera types of rum."

"Hier auch ein solider Durchschnittsrum. Wir die meisten Rums aus dieser Kategorie hat der hier auch eine leicht süssliche Note, aber nicht zu schlimm. Wir haben hier Vanille und Schokolade in Nase und Gaumen, geschmacklich kommt dann noch Karamell hinzu."
