"02.03.2024 Retasting at the whiskymessen and I stick to my score. ------------------ #4597 26-27.01.2024 Tried this rum several times at the event because it's so nice and mellow and an atypical Agricole and especially from Pere Labat. A lovely and mellow rum and I ordered two bottles âşď¸ Nose Elegant and fine, light wood and roasted notes, light, fruits, light caramel. Palate Oily, elegant, wood, light roasted, fruity, natural sweetness, faint Agricole notes. Finish Medium to long, wood, elegant, cherry, light herbs."

"04.05.2024 Retasting during a nice exclusive tasting at Romdeluxe. I stick to my score and I still love it. -------------------------- This is a very nice interpretation of a Pere Labat and the flavours just come at you from opening the bottle. My favourite part is that they didn't lower the ABV. Leave the glass for the next day and nose it, amazing flavours still emanating from the glass. Price to quality is extremely good which is why I bought a backup bottle :-)"
Père Labat Clos parcellaire les mangles
Top review from Kevin Sorensen đŠđ°:
"This rum needs to rest for at least 15 minutes in order to release all those lovely flavours. Very fresh from nose to palate with tropical fruits and vanilla and a hint of cane. This one is better than the one with a lower ABV. Very limited release so get one if you like Agricole."
Père Labat Single Cask
Top review from Andi:
"I find it super well-balanced, extremely tasty and drinkable, exactly to my taste at the moment. Addendum: Photo + still one of my favorites! I could drink it every day. I've lowered my rating from 9.5 to 8.9 points, I still think it's drinkable. But my inexperience and lack of comparisons led me to do so at the time."
Père Labat BIO Blanc
Top review from Kevin Sorensen đŠđ°:
"This is a really nice release and I have tried a few of the white rums from Labat and most of them are really good. This one has a very fresh profile with an intense and dry profile. It needs time to rest before it releases all its flavours. Draws really nice curtains in the glass and I like the empty glass where the honey note gets even stronger. Price to quality is very good in my mind."
Père Labat Canne Jaune

"#4137 Another great release from Pere Labat. This one with a slightly different profile from the other whites. Fruity and floral with a spicy and lightly dry palate. Very long and warm finish. Price to quality is very good in my mind."
Guadeloupe (Pueblo del Ron NĂźrnberg 2024)
Top review from zabo:

"#4558 19.01.2024 Got a set of samples from a former colleague in Sweden and today I'll give them a go. My tastebuds are still hyper sensitive, which can be both good and bad. A very nice and medium intense Agricole with nice fruits. The palate is medium dry and fresh. The finish is medium to long and medium dry with nice citrus and honey. The empty glass has stronger Agricole notes to it and I'd say it smells green âşď¸ I have a nice selection of Pere Labat and I really like them because the bar is high and the price is really good."
Père Labat Blanc 59
Top review from Stefan Persson:
"Poisson Distillery has named their Rhum after Père Labat (Father Labat), a French multi-talented Dominican missionary that among lots of other things also improved the development process of Rhum with the introduction of Charentaise distillation, which is used to make Cognac, that made the Rhum more floral and round instead of sharp and burning."
Père Labat Brut de colonne
Top review from Kevin Sorensen đŠđ°:
"Having another go at this one and I still stand by my score. A great warming Agricole that really kicks in the right doors. This rum has to rest for a while in order to settle or it will attack your nose and palate without mercy. A great Agricole with light fruits and spice to it. I like the fresh floral and grassy notes that comes at you, both the nose and palate. The ABV is very well integrated and hands a warm touch to your palate."

"#4706 21.04.2024 Relaxing a little bit today. Nose Intense, fresh, sugarcane, fruits, citrus, light vegetal, faint smoke. Palate Intense, warm, oily, sugarcane, light metallic, faint smoke, fruits, citrus, spicy, light olive, light salt. Finish Long and warm, oily, citrus, light vegetal, light olive, faint licorice. Draws nice curtains in the glass. The empty glass has some mint, grass and grapes. Price to quality is very good in my mind."

Top review from Kevin Sorensen đŠđ°:
"I got this bottle yesterday and I'm happy i was one of the lucky ones getting my hand on one. A highly limited release, and a good one at the same time. Lovely Agricole all the way with tropical fruits and natural vanilla swetness. The grass you usually get from the Agricole is also there. There is a natural warmth to it not only the one coming from the ABV. Needs to rest for a while before you give it a go."
Père Labat SÊlection Les Frères de la Côte
Top review from Gregor:
"Nose: Sweet, chewy honey; floral, grass, sugar cane Palate: like the nose, still some lime, almost like a Ti Punch, not insanely complex but good, alcohol pleasant despite almost 60%"
Père Labat 8 Ans Très Vieux
Top review from Stefan Persson:
"At the palate and during the finish itâs perfectly alright, but the nose is very unpleasant. The price is very way too high, but I found my bottles at an Spanish webshop to the third of the normal price which make it price worthy for me."
Père Labat Rhum Attitude Bruxelles (Cognac Cask)
Top review from Jarek:
"Bei Rhum Attitude in BrĂźssel aus dem Fass abgefĂźllt. Fruchtig, sĂźĂ, Alkohol wegen der Ăźber 70% spĂźrbar, aber nicht zu dominant und sehr gut eingebunden. Beim nächsten Besuch nehme ich mehr mit."

"#4896 Whisky Live in Paris 27.09.2024-30.09.2024. Another great event meeting a lot of RumX new and old friends. This year three weren't as many new releases as in 2023, but I still had a great time. Nose Wood, light roasted, faint bourbon, fruits, light orange, Agricole, light herbal, faint floral. Palate Wood, Agricole, light orange, faint chocolate, light anise, medium spicy, oily, light floral, light sugarcane, light bourbon. Finish Long, balanced, Agricole, wood, light roasted, medium dry, oily, light vegetal, faint citrus. This is a lovely rum and I think the price matches what you get."
Père Labat RÊserve Familiale
Top review from TheRhumhoe:
"A permanent range rum that shows elegance and complexity despite its young age. The nose is very earthy, with hints of grass, hay and sugarcane. There's a hint of musk, candied fruit (citrus) and spices that accompany a light woodiness. A dry, simple but well-crafted profile. The attack on the palate continues along the vegetal path, with both freshness and dry herbs like straw. The profile gains in finesse and depth thanks to the spices (licorice, pepper, vanilla) and this fruity side on brandy, dried fruit and orange zest. The profile is suave and fine, very pleasant and aromatic for its degree. The finish prolongs the pleasure with a round, unctuous side of brown sugar and caramel. The spices become spicier, accompanied by vegetal and earthy notes. A Père Labat of finesse, which evolves as the tasting progresses and is very pleasant to drink."

"#4245 08.09.2023 I got 6 secret samples from a friend as a blind tasting and that has been a lot of fun spread over two evenings. Another very fresh Agricole where the price to quality is very good. Also a fruity rum with nice flavours of the cane used. Lightly dry palate and a medium finish. I would gmhave liked a higher ABV because I think it would have benefitted the overall profile. 8 noticed that the longer it rested the more flavours were revealed. The empty glass has some nougat like flavour and strawberry."
