"#4949 02.11.2024 Had a great tasting with Kim from Romdeluxe with both old and new releases. Nose Round, smooth, fruits, light orange, faint herbal, light floral, faint caramel, light anise. Palate Smooth, balanced, oily, velvety, light floral, light orange, faint mint, light anise, light wood, medium dry, faint chocolate. Finish Long, light wood, fruits, faint plum, light orange, faint licorice, medium dry, light vegetal. This is a very smooth bottling and I'm happy that I got my hands on it. Finished in Caroni casks shows up very gently in the profile without disturbing the overall profile."

"Accessibility 3/5 (Difficult). The oloroso sherry cask is dominant but the French oak is distinct. This is a difficult one. Lots of burnt woody notes in a very spirit heavy rum, and with the sweetness well buried underneath peaty and spicy tastes."

"Un rhum goĂťtĂŠ au Lucerne Gin and Rum Festival en 2024. Un nez vĂŠgĂŠtal avec du foin et un cĂ´tĂŠ miel agrĂŠable. Les arĂ´mes en bouche sont en retrait, diluĂŠs et marquĂŠs surtout par le foin et le boisĂŠ. La finale est courte avec les mĂŞmes arĂ´mes. Un rhum agrĂŠable mais limitĂŠ dans ses arĂ´mes avec un nez agrĂŠable et une bouche et une finale unilatĂŠrales."

"#4558 19.01.2024 Got a set of samples from a former colleague in Sweden and today I'll give them a go. My tastebuds are still hyper sensitive, which can be both good and bad. A very nice and medium intense Agricole with nice fruits. The palate is medium dry and fresh. The finish is medium to long and medium dry with nice citrus and honey. The empty glass has stronger Agricole notes to it and I'd say it smells green âşď¸ I have a nice selection of Pere Labat and I really like them because the bar is high and the price is really good."

"#4896 Whisky Live in Paris 27.09.2024-30.09.2024. Another great event meeting a lot of RumX new and old friends. This year three weren't as many new releases as in 2023, but I still had a great time. Nose Wood, light roasted, faint bourbon, fruits, light orange, Agricole, light herbal, faint floral. Palate Wood, Agricole, light orange, faint chocolate, light anise, medium spicy, oily, light floral, light sugarcane, light bourbon. Finish Long, balanced, Agricole, wood, light roasted, medium dry, oily, light vegetal, faint citrus. This is a lovely rum and I think the price matches what you get."

"#4245 08.09.2023 I got 6 secret samples from a friend as a blind tasting and that has been a lot of fun spread over two evenings. Another very fresh Agricole where the price to quality is very good. Also a fruity rum with nice flavours of the cane used. Lightly dry palate and a medium finish. I would gmhave liked a higher ABV because I think it would have benefitted the overall profile. 8 noticed that the longer it rested the more flavours were revealed. The empty glass has some nougat like flavour and strawberry."

"14.10.2018 Nice little get together with new rum friends. Notes. Dark in colour. Nose: wood, fresh, grass, citrus, fruity, light nutts. Palate: fresh, light wood, vegetal, citrus, spicy, sugarcane, fruity. Finish: medium long, wood, spicy, fresh, vegetal."
