Top review from Jakob:
"Very complex without becoming unbalanced at any point. The wood note is particularly impressive, giving the rum a noble depth that borders on the bitter without overpowering the other notes. Heavy, dense consistency. Very nicely integrated alcohol. The only "fly in the ointment": Tasted blind, it doesn't stand out enough in comparison with other Skeldons for me to agree with the perfect score. However, this does not detract from its outstanding quality."

Top review from Jakob:
"Very noble profile, even if extremely bitter. Cocoa, coffee, leather, barrel - multi-layered dark notes paired with some dried fruit and subtle sweetness. For me, the nose is one of the best I've ever tasted - however, the rum's age has caused it to lose some of its edge on the palate. A rum for which you have to take your time, but which is well worth it."
El Dorado Rare Collection SWR
Top review from Jakob:
"Simply excellent. Brings the Demerara-typical, unique in this form oak vanilla note in perfection in glass. In addition, chocolate melt, hints of latte, fine spices, caramel, a touch of dried fruit and allspice ... I am impressed time and again by the aromatic force that this bottling conjures up in the glass. That a completely tropically stored Guyana in the Skeldon Marque with such a high-class profile remains available for so long at the issue price is in view of the current demand m.E. not rationally explainable - but shall be fine with me. An absolute price-performance tip, even at prices well beyond the 200€."
S.B.S Guyana SWR
Top review from Jakob:
"Very round, sweet melange of spices and fresh wood. For me, a bit too straightforward and pleasing in profile to strike out even higher in the rating. But that is criticism at the highest level, since the top league from Guyana simply has even more complexity, finesse and aromatics to offer. Nevertheless, a high-class representative of the current Demerara squad."
S.B.S Guyana SWR
Top review from Dr.Django:
S.B.S Selected and bottled for Milhade SWR
Top review from DomM:
"In line with a lot of other older continental Guyanese bottlings this SWR need a tremendous time to breath in order to open up. This will help to reduce the bitterness on the finish and enhance the rum‘s complexity. For me it is on the edge of feeling to thin overall, however still very tasty and complex given enough time. Side-by-side the SBS bottling is clearly ahead of The Nectar. Side-by-side with some 2001 SWRs, the 1997 come out much more elegant and a little more moderated. Wood influence is more accentuated, on the edge of being overwhelming."
S.B.S Selected and bottled for The Nectar SWR
Top review from cigares :

Top review from Oliver:
"Mega nose with a great, dark profile. Clean and yet expressive. Plenty of power on the palate with lots of nut, spice and beautifully integrated sweetness. An absolute recommendation!"

Top review from Kevin Sorensen 🇩🇰:
"This is a very rare bottle and the price went up pretty quickly after the initial release. That said it's a really good Skeldon. The darkness is there combined with fruit and wood. The balance between the individual flavours is really good and the wood is not dominating."
The Nectar Of The Daily Drams SWR
Top review from SaibotZtar :
