The palate carries the same as the nose with added chocolate and more of the dried fruit - raisins. Also licorice, orange peel and brown sugar. The finish is spicy, a tiny amount of bitterness, dark chocolate and oak. On a side note the cork split on opening so it required a bit of decanting through cheese cloth.Read more
