- Inviting cookie dough aroma
- Well-integrated alcohol
The Cane Jamaica Rum, bottled by Precious Liquors, is a rare expression from Jamaican multi-distilleries. Distilled in 2008 and aged for 14 years, this rum delivers distinct aromas of cookie dough, esters, tropical fruit, and oaky undertones. Known for its New Yarmouth influence, tasters note a compelling mix of ester-rich, cookie dough forward on the palate, followed by a round, acidic finish with well-integrated alcohol. "Ausgewogener Hampden. Schön rund, nicht viel Ester. Erinnert mich an den GH21."

"Edit: New Yarmouth share clearly recognizable. Exactly my thing. Beautiful piece I'm thrilled with the first impression. I'll give it a little more time in the glass when sampled and report back."

"I somehow don't quite understand the blend. It's a good blend, New Yarmouth dominates somewhat."

"Nose: heavy fruity sweetness rises from the glass and makes it unmistakably clear that the blend contains a proportion of New Yarmouth. I also think I recognize Worthy Park with the typical banana - but without knowing the composition I probably wouldn't have guessed. On the palate, the cask influence comes more to the fore and dominates the overall impression together with the New Yarmouth component. Worthy Park is also briefly noticeable on the palate, but is quickly displaced by Monymusk with its typical dryness before New Yarmouth takes over again. Long Pond is somehow lost in the blend The medium to long finish is also a New Yarmouth home game. Very good composition! But unfortunately the proportions of the blend are not balanced in terms of intensity. In the interests of transparency, the marks used would have been informative."
