To Chelo
"Velier does it again. The nose is fruity with tobacco and some roasted notes. There is an acidic/sour touch to the nose. The palate is warm and oily with fruit, coffee and a hint of tobacco. The wood note is very light and nice. Medium to long finish that is warm and woody with some berries. Price to quality is OK."
"Very nice aged Clairin. The Bielle barrel brings a great depth and complexity in the glass."
"Extremely exciting nose, almost reminiscent of rhum rhum or wine finishes. However, the rum cask is also present and brings a beautiful woody aroma. On the palate there is a nice smokiness, unfortunately the promise of the nose does not quite match the palate impression. Nevertheless, a very exciting bottling!"
"Everything is just right here: great mouthfeel, high complexity for only 3 years of maturation, interesting flavor profile with a good balance between wood and the clairin, alcohol well integrated, super PLV. More of this please!"
