"Beautiful Le Galion, but the PX finish does not seem unreservedly advantageous. The heavy fruit notes crush the freshness a bit, the whole thing is still within limits, nothing tips completely in the wrong direction - but it is at the expense of the great freshness that otherwise distinguishes the Grand Arômes from Le Galion."

"Really like this experiment. The sherry cask is very noticeable and forming the experience quite significantly. Imho this works very well however and presents interesting ester and fruit notes. I get the sensation of drinking strawberry jam here 🤤😅"

"Ein Agricole a la Hampden. Ester und Frucht in der Nase, Richtung Abgang aber wärmer werdend und dann ein Agricole. Sehr atypisch und gut. Was für die Funkster! Die Musik dazu: „One Nation Under A Groove“ von Funkadelic. Vielen Dank nach Berlin fürs Sample."

"Mein erster Grand Arome Rhum. Eine schöne Ladung ester, aber anders als die typischen Jamaika Esterbomben, was wohl auch am Sherry Finish liegt. Rote Früchte, Lösungsmittel, etwas sauer, etwas salzig. Eine schöne Abwechslung zu Jamaika, aber mit noch Luft nach oben."
