"The Madeira barrel and higher alcohol content give the rum a nice boost of complexity. Reminds by the coconut and toasty Kako associations of a very good Foursquare. Column still quite dominant, nevertheless great rum!"

"I quite like this Mount Gay, quite round and sweet, which I guess is the Madeira influence. Its very drinkable and dissapears quickly! Honey, caramel, Vanilla, spice, dried fruits and wood in the background. Quite a lot to like for this one. You can't question the quality from Mount gay, it's just that they are all quite similar, this one stands out to me. Short to medium finish."

"The nose is very restrained. The Madeira cask is clearly recognizable, relatively sweet overall with caramel, dried fruit, honey, raisins and chocolate.
