“Ein Volltreffer! Der 2001er Jahrgang aus Guyana weiß zu überzeugen. Dieser Rum ist nicht sonderlich komplex. Kaffee, Schokolade, Leder, rote Trockenfrüchte, Röstaromen,... Sehr geschmeidig und angenehm am Gaumen, der Alkohol ist perfekt eingebunden. Dieser Rum ist gezähmt, zeigt absolut keine schärfe oder pfeffrigkeit. Wenn der am Gaumen noch etwas "fetter" wäre und die Aromen direkter, fände ich ihn noch besser. Andere mögen dieses unterschwellige und geschmeidige Aromenspiel mehr. So oder so, ein super Rum und ein excellenter Guyana!”

“This was also a retaste and the points remain as initially scored. Draws wonderful curtains in the glass. Sniffing the sample glass today reveals a nice wooden nose 😊 A very well balanced and subtle profile in my mind. Could drink this all day long actually. Price to quality was very good at release.”

“Tastes excellent to me. It's not extremely complex but simply very tasty. Quite a bit of sweetness. Cappuccino, beautiful woody notes, roasted, slightly malty, caramel and chocolate. Pleasant drinking strength. Oily, creamy. A fine bottling.”
