"Dégustation des 8 marks Hampden et regoûté un an après. La dégustation ressemble beaucoup à celle d’il y a une année. Un nez où les solvants dominent avec de l’ananas sur-mûr et des esters. Un nez complexe mais avec moins de fruits que les autres marks. La bouche est moins aromatique, plus alcoolique avec comme un boisé, un tanin de bois persistant. Plus on monte en esters et plus la finale est longue. Le verre vide redonne cette étonnante impression de boisé et de tannins et fait aussi penser à un whisky écossais. Pas le plus équilibré ni le plus fruité."

"Know the chemistry of your Hampden rum! The 8-mark set is very informative and instructive. The pineapple is very dominant in the HGML mark. High ester content! Very pleasing. This rum has an exciting toasty chocolate nuttiness to the usual fruit basket and it's complex in the mouth too."

"Overall, exciting tasting. Some were surprisingly for me extremely tasty and tasty. The ever popular distillery in a different light. Trying the basic product in this form has its appeal.
