“This is supposed to be a Long Pond? Taste much Column style, virtually no esters, no fruit basket, alcohol not well integrated, blind I would have rather guessed a Foursquare.”

“Tropical salad on the nose with lots of fresh pineapple, as well as some coconut flakes and passion fruit. Sweet peaches and soft nutty nougat. Barrel notes provide some wood, vanilla and a bit of cloves. Light medicinal touch from salty seabreeze followed by old, stale tobacco. Mouthfeel is slick and oily. It’s very sweet with fruits and sugar notes. Much more coconut forward. Peach cobbler and vanilla icecream, followed by soft buttery nougat. It’s lightly peppered with more sea breeze in its wake. Fresh and minty at the back of the palate. Frosted coconut flakes, nougat and vanilla in a short-to-medium length finish. This is an excellent entry into low ester Jamaican or LP territory, but to me it’s too sweet.”

“Too gentle for me. Also, I am not a fan of vanilla.”
