Bellamy‘s Reserve Barbados Madeira Cask Finish gets plenty of nods for its dried fruit, wine, and caramel notes, plus hints of coconut and wood. The nose leans dried fruit and caramel, while the taste works in sherry, plums, and a touch of salt. Finish is short to medium, not overly complex—Roman Lelek describes it as "not bad but frankly not awesome" and Matej calls it a "really nice and interesting sample." For those wary of sweet rums, Pavel Spacek highlights the "pleasant and in no way aggressive" flavors rich in coconut, vanilla, and chocolate.

"Salzig, fruchtig würzig. Etwas getrocknete Feigen und Aprikose und nuss-butter. Nicht unbedingt mein lieblings foursquare und könnte für meinen Geschmack etwas mehr Alkohol haben aber das Madeira finish von 3 Monaten passt hier echt gut und bei 75€ die Flasche in der Slowakei kann man auch nicht meckern."

"My first Bellamy’s and first sample from advent calendar. Aroma is sweet (caramel) and little alcoholic. I noticed wine/dry scent with sherry and cocoa hint. There was also some wood, raisin and dried fruit (plums in my opinion) with burn scent. Taste is pretty dry, I noticed wine/sherry with lot of dried fruit (plums). I noticed some oak and salt (interesting) with combination of milk chocolate. Finish is not long enough, I noticed some coconut, druid fruit, oak amd bitter. Really nice and interesting sample, I like that they used Forsquare rum for this one, but to be honest I would like to see better price for the whole bottle."
