“Une drôle d’idée que d’appliquer la méthode Solera à un rhum Demerara, suivi d’une finition en fût de sherry. Le nez est très sucré et caramélisé avec une influence de fruits rouges, d’épices douces et de tabac. La bouche est assez huileuse, la réduction à 40% ayant impacté le profil aromatique du rhum. La réglisse, l’anis, la cannelle, le chocolat, le caramel et le boisé vanillé dominent avec un soupçon de tabac et de thé. La finale est très courte, le profil est plus sombre et torréfié comme les rhums de Demerara. Loin d’être un rhum de référence mais abordable pour son prix.”
