“RumX Community Tasting Fiji 2001. Un nez avec beaucoup d’épices, du macis en particulier, du vernis et des fruits tropicaux en arrière-plan avec surtout de la banane trop mûre. De la pâtisserie et un côté grillé/rôti. La bouche est marquée par le bois de cèdre, les épices et les fruits tropicaux. Un bouche plutôt du côté lourd. La finale est longue, mais seulement sur le bois de cèdre et le macis. Un rhum plutôt sombre mais équilibré, sans défauts, sauf peut-être un boisé un peu trop marqué et un léger manque de complexité.”

“RumX Fidji 2001 Cross Tasting: For me the last place in the line-up (blind). While this is by no means a bad bottling, it lacks some of the complexity of the other bottlings. The 01 Fidji profile is there (and nice) but some excitement (fruity notes in particular) is missing. Cheers to Jakob!”
