"Nose is funky with lots of tropical fruits and crème brûlée. The palate brings the same funk, fruits, sweet, wood, chocolate and maybe medicinal notes. Medium finish which combines a sweetness and tannins. It punches above it’s weight to my mind and is great value."

"An absolute bargain on sale at £25. The sauternes and funk combo is a very nice experiment. Nose is nice, palette delicious, but the finish is not excellent for me. Resinous french oak notes don’t go perfectly with the estery, chemical finish. Overall, an unbeatable jamaican expression at the price paid. Will update my review as I get further down the bottle."

"At first this one was troubeling for me. I couldn't really place it. My taste for jamaican rum isn't very developed jet, so I compared it against 2 other high proof, young, jamaican rums I had laying around; Smith & Cross and Le Liquoriste Single Estate Jamaica rum 2013. It's much less funky on the nose and much darker of taste. Burnt sugar, dark chocolate, more red fruit. Much to like. I read somewhere that it was finished on ex-sauternes casks? I don't get the same wine-y flavour that I got from the Daily Dram Foursquare sauternes. Still very enjoyable. I need to get used to this one but I don't think it will take long ;)"
