"Very pleasant on the nose with sweet dried fruits, vanilla and nice round molasses. The round sweet palate is filled with raisins, dried fruits, sweet caramel, some milk chocolate and vanilla. This is a really nice sipper if you enjoy the spanish solera types of rum."

"A rum from my early days. I had actually kept it for visitors who first had to be introduced to (somewhat stronger) rum. However, since the sweethearts dared to try it, I have now opened it for myself (on weekdays it can also be something undemanding). And what can I say: it tastes good! Am I falling off the sweet rum wagon? 😉"

"A mild aroma and taste of smoky cask, caramel, chocolate, raisin/red wine and vanilla. Slightly sweet, moderately complex, a little smoky spiciness, but very round and harmonious. A Spanish-style rum that deviates somewhat from the standard and has a strong woody and earthy tobacco character. Until around 2016, this rum was labeled with a port wine finish, after which it was said to have been aged in American and French oak barrels. No idea if the current version still saw port casks, but some red wine is hinted at in the profile."

"21.05.2022 Sampling at home. Notes Medium dark in colour. Nose Light, light wood, sweet, fruits, caramel, light chocolate, dried fruit, light orange. Palate Oily, sweet, light wood, caramel, dried fruit, light orange, faint chocolate, port, vanilla. Finish Short to medium, sweet, oily, light wood, orange, light caramel, port, light chocolate. Extra note. This is a very sweet rum and I have been using it as dessert rum or for baking&on ice cream."

"This is an OK rum for sipping and also a good rum for beginners. The nose has orange and maple whe poured and once rested for a while you get brow. Sugar, nuts and cinnamon. The palate is kind of light and sweet with oak and vanilla and a bit of nuts. The finish is medium long with oak and cinnamon."

"Na ja, jetzt nicht der beste Rum, aber ganz okay, finde ihn aber doch etwas zu süss. Hier hat man Vanille, Schokolade und Karamell in Nase und Gaumen. Trotzdem spürt man den Alkohol dich etwas zu sehr. So lala."

"Though it has a short finish it's still a pretty good rum. I have all of the releases on my shelf and this is the most recent one. Ligh and well balanced rum with a touch of oak and vanilla. In the back i find nuttyness and tobacco. "

"A fairly dark rum with a very fruity nose of varnish and cedar wood. The palate is smooth, balanced with fruit and cedar, as well as a taste of beeswax. The finish is rather long, ending on fruit and wood. As much as this kind of reduction has "killed" some Bristol Caronis, here it's justified and makes this rum dangerously drinkable 😇."
