El Dorado Rare Collection AN
Top review from Jakob:
"Does not fall in the blind direct comparison with the Velier Albions. Classic Albion notes of sweet vanilla, oak and caramel, but with a somewhat too noticeable bitter note on the palate, without which it would go even higher. Serious alternative in the (still) tolerable price range."
100% Trinidad Rum 21
Top review from Jakob:
"Epic Velier Caroni Tasting 2023: Top Caroni and an excellent representative of the great '96 vintage. Balanced, complex, Caroni-typical notes, dark fruit and beautiful sweetness. An ideal entry-level rum into the high-quality world of tropically aged Caronis with a price-performance ratio that is no longer quite so easy to finance, but still relatively good for Caroni. Excellent."
El Dorado Rare Collection SWR
Top review from Jakob:
"Simply excellent. Brings the Demerara-typical, unique in this form oak vanilla note in perfection in glass. In addition, chocolate melt, hints of latte, fine spices, caramel, a touch of dried fruit and allspice ... I am impressed time and again by the aromatic force that this bottling conjures up in the glass. That a completely tropically stored Guyana in the Skeldon Marque with such a high-class profile remains available for so long at the issue price is in view of the current demand m.E. not rationally explainable - but shall be fine with me. An absolute price-performance tip, even at prices well beyond the 200€."
Plenipotenziario
Top review from crazyforgoodbooze:
"An extremely tasty number that is dominated above all by the floral tones of rose and Thai flying mango, which then alternate with nutty and chocolaty aromas. Mega exciting, extremely palatable and a complexity like this is very rare with Foursquare. Absolutely outstanding for me! It has become one of my favorite sipping rums. I think this could really be my absolute favorite Foursquare!"
Exceptional Cask Selection XIV Détente
Top review from Tim :
"Delicious nose of vanilla, cinnamon, caramel, chocolate and harmonious fruits like banana, raisin and coconut. In the mouth by the slightly lower ABV mildly sweet after caramel, yet naturally peppery, toasted and many spices. Fruit also present, which is overlaid by bitter chocolate and toasty caramel in the finish. Top rum with restrained port finish, at that time at a very good price, but today difficult to still get."
Exceptional Cask Selection XV Redoutable
Top review from Oliver:
"Wonderful rum from the Foursquare distillery! Spicy, full-bodied and delicious. In the nose surprise floral notes, which I did not know from Foursquare so. From the profile it goes towards really good Tropical Guyana Column! Very good!"

Top review from cigares :
"Tasted with the Depaz XO prestige, it is better in the mouth and the finish is more interesting despite a lower price. The nose is less interesting than the XO. In mouth a peaty side absent in the nose, dried fruits and tropical fruits. The finish is floral with violet."

Top review from cigares :
"A world of difference between the opening of the bottle and four months later. A hard, alcoholic rum turns into a still strong, but very fruity rum with a very well integrated wood. A little bit of water softens the nose, reveals even more fruit and brings out a slight smokiness. A very nice surprise and a delicious rum! A remarkable rum raisin finish. Re-tasted and even better."

Top review from crazyforgoodbooze:
"#bottlekill 🥲 extremely round rum for such a young age and the high alcohol strength. Grenade. still for me one of the best PLV cask strength rums on the market. ❤️🙏🇦🇬 compared to the new english harbour straight From the cask this one is ne track ahead as it has much more flavors to offer and I like it even better overall, more fruit, more power and more complexity.💥 My absolute #1 Antigua rum! Too bad I did not get here at the time for the ridiculous uvp of ~60€ directly ne box. Simply delicious!"
New Grove Emotion
Top review from Gunnar Böhme "Bauerngaumen" 🤓:
"It is rare, far too rare, to discover a diamond among pebbles. And if it happens by chance, it's all the more incredible. But it actually happened with this rum! I'm still blown away. The rum already promises a lot on the nose and reminds me of an old Demerara. So tempting that I can't wait to taste it. Very fruity on the palate, overripe blackcurrants? The alcohol is more perfectly integrated than I have ever experienced with any other rum. The maximum has really been extracted from the 47% vol. The only small drawback: a slight lack of depth and intensity due to the low ABV. But such a small "impurity" is easy to get over with such a fine diamond, isn't it? Top rum under the radar. Update 2023-10-06: The rum remains a top product for me, but has found its champion in the Savoir Faire 2009 with 60% (RX2744). Update 2023-10-18: Tasting again against the RX2744, this time direct. And I have to say that a direct comparison is really enlightening - and doesn't end well for the Emotion 1969 ... It seems like the league leader of the 2nd division playing at the top level in its class against a Champions League team ... 🙄 Try it out and you'll find it confirmed. RumX Advent calendar 09.12.2023 (blind tasting) I wrote in the appropriate place before solving the puzzle: Yes, on the nose I'm also more with FS, although what's amazing here is that you really perceive zero alcohol! A completely different rum on the palate: Not warm-caramel like on the nose, but clearly red-fruity and a little spicy. And what do I always associate with red fruit? That's right, Mauritius! Since this rum is not an alcohol monster, but rather under 50% vol. I'm guessing RX2495. Of course, it could also be another New Grove from Grays with around 45% vol. as there are still a few around ... Or maybe even a TDL. In any case, I like the rum very much. :yum::yum::yum:"

Top review from crazyforgoodbooze:
"Holy moly the claps neatly! But very horny and intense. Strong mocha, vanilla bean, raisin, discreet sherry and rum raisins, dark chocolate with fleur de sel and espresso beans and then again coconut and banana chips. Only the alcohol could be better integrated. Aromatically, however, it is really fun!"
El Dorado Rare Collection EHP
Top review from Oliver:
"Very inviting nose with dried apricots, raisins and delicate chocolate notes. The palate can then unfortunately not quite keep up with the fantastic nose. Slight alcoholic spiciness perceptible - was briefly even with unsweetened, Spanish style at barrel strength. But that is criticism at a high level. Relatively dry, spicy and pleasant wood notes.Very nice Enmore!"

"Retasting this one on a regular basis and today I enjoy it again. A lovely rum from nose to finish. Got this one today and it is a wonderful rum well worth the price tag. Slightly dry in the finish but great overall from nose to finish."
El Dorado Rare Collection VSG
Top review from cigares :
"A rum decried by the RumX community and praised by Serge Valentin. So I had to buy it and taste it. I was rather disappointed when I opened the bottle, but I'm familiar with the phenomenon... A nose of old leather, flambéed banana, brown sugar and tea, with good concentration. A slightly peaty palate with fat and brown sugar. The finish is abrupt, but honey and cask reappear after a while. The empty glass is splendid with previously hidden aromas. Apart from the fact that this rum is too lively when opened, I find nothing but good in it. It's perfectly balanced and deep. It could have a slightly broader aromatic palette, but then it would be one of the great Demerara rums. Buy it before it disappears from the shelves."

Top review from Zucker und Zeste:
"Needs some time in the glass but then shows multilayered flavors that come together, I think, very elegant. He has quite a lot of force to which you have to get used briefly. Unusually, I find the quite present saltiness. A few drops of water I also find not wrong."
Exceptional Cask Selection III 2004
Top review from Jakob:
"Gets me a subjective sympathy point in addition, because the high-percentage Foursquare profile at the time was definitely something new, which has caused enthusiasm. But also regardless of that, an excellent representative of the typical Foursquare profile."

Top review from Kevin Sorensen 🇩🇰:
"Enjoying this rum yet again and I still love it. This is one of the few rums carrying the AOC certification! A dry but very complex and well balanced rhum Agricole. The single column copper still in which it was made has given it a lot of flavours not available in normal stills A masterpiece of rum made from molasses showing that with love and care you can make a well aged Rhum Agricole from molasses."

Top review from Galli33:
"WoW what a great rum 🫨 Nose: Sugarcane, honey, fruity, dried apricot, pear, nutty, roasted, a lot of glue paired with a bit of rubber🤤 yummy Mouth: citrus notes, some delicious fresh coconuts, dried apricots, glue, cinnamon, licorice, oak and dark chocolate. The alcohol is integrated perfectly! Finish: Quite long, dry and delicious!"

Top review from Joachim Guger:
"Very nice Agricole. Top!!!The nose like a chord on the guitar, harmonious, very complex, but individual facets are difficult to taste out. Perfect in the mouth. The 2001 is my favorite, still absolute recommendation to buy, as this will be a collector's item in a few years."
HSE Château Marquis de Terme Finish
Top review from lukasdrinkinghabits:
"This is what a red wine finish should taste like! It is present without taking over the rum. Red fruits, berries and cherry remain from the nose to the finish. There are also spices (cumin, cloves) - and a hint of sulphur, which leaves a little salt in the mouth and finish. Despite the low alcohol content, a lot of flavor comes together in the mouth. Reminiscent of a very elegant 2008 Ten Cane. A little too little action, but I could drink this almost every day."
Rhum Vieux Édition 2014
Top review from Thunderbird:

Barbados
Top review from Felix Reiber:
Jamaica Rum (Clarendon)
Top review from Jakob:
"Nicknamed "Stilton 2007"- takes some time to breathe, but then offers a fascinating combination of overripe fruit, wood, spices and...blue cheese. Sounds strange, tastes (to me) all the better for it. Completely own profile, which will certainly divide the tastes, but for me the basis for one of the - thanks to its uniqueness - best younger Clarendons up to here."
Barbados Rum
Top review from Zucker und Zeste:
"It is less complex than the 86 bottlings and does not have such a pronounced honey note. Also you notice the shorter storage time, the alcohol is extremely good, but just a little worse integrated than in the two tested 86 bottlings. But a beautiful rum."

Top review from Kevin Sorensen 🇩🇰:
"Enjoying this one right now while preparing for the big Whisky and Rum Event tomorrow. One of my favourite Damoiseau's because of the overall profile and very well integrated ABV. ------- I got this bottle a little over a month ago and I've sipped it a few times. It is now one of my favourite Agricoles. The nose has lots of wonderful spices mixed with fruit, wood and some leather. The Agricole is definitely there and some grassy notes The palate is elegant and complex with spices, chocolate and a sprinkle of banana. Dry warm Agricole in my mind, yummy. The finish is long and warm with orange, wood and vegetal notes. You should rest this nice rum for at least 15vminutes before giving it a go."
Forsyths WP 502 White
Top review from Mirko Frosini 🇮🇪:
"Interesting rum, but with 502 esters I would have expected more aromas. I sensed notes of pineapple, olive and lychee on the finish. A strong hint of solvents prevails, which accompanied by high alcohol content smother everything else. Imperceptible hint of toastiness. I like it, but I recognize that it may not be a rum in everyone's cup of tea. It is not a rum I would drink every day."
La Tour De L‘Or
Top review from Joachim Guger:
"Beautiful nose. Oak dominates, followed by a great glue note and then fruit. Balanced, alcohol well integrated, fresh. In the mouth then a wild ride. Very peppery and powerful. Balanced again on the finish. Very good overall. A very good Agricole, but lacks the brilliant elegance of its two brothers. And meanwhile there is an abundance of similar Agricoles of comparable quality."
Trinidad Rum HTR
Top review from cigares :
"A very successful bottling from Swiss Guildive. A classic 1998 with Caroni machine shop markers but counterbalanced by fruit aromas and cooked pineapple in particular. An alcoholic nose at first, but the pineapple and the dirty side are there immediately afterwards. A little smokiness on the palate, still with fruit and tire. A very long, velvety, elegant finish with chocolate. Still available from Guildive at a fair price for a Caroni of this class... a little below the 1996 Caroni all the same. Much better than the Caroni Adelphi in direct comparison."
25 Years - Reserva Imperial
Top review from Artur Schönhütte:
"This is one of those central american Rums that at least try to distinguish themself with some sort of flavor. This on rather manages itself good to create this really distinct dryness in character and comes along with dry wood and coffee aroma. I can understand why."
Demerara Rum MEV
Top review from Thunderbird:
"Blindtasting Enmore 1990 Nr.2: An der Nase recht verhalten und schwach wahrnehmbar..dezente Würz- und Kräuteraromen. Am Gaumen anfangs eine Süße und deutlich mehr ABV, was den Aromen zu Gute kommt. Der Abgang ist mittellang undklassisch auf der würzig kräuterigen Seite Edit: Beim gestrigen Blindtasting babe ich diesen Rum 0,2 Punkte nach unten korrigiert"
British Guyana Limited Edition
Top review from crazyforgoodbooze:
"Sherry influence is especially in the taste quite clearly perceptible, but rounds the whole harmoniously without being too dominant and especially without being too sweet. to get to know Guyana at a fair PLV times and also relaxed strong old fashioneds to stir an excellent choice!"

Top review from cigares :
Trinidad Rum
Top review from Kevin Sorensen 🇩🇰:
"This was a very surprising rum to give a go. Very fruity from nose to finish and also with a wooden touch all the way. What I like a both this particular rum is the way it changes from nose to palate and then again to the finish. It does so and still maintains a very high level of integrity. The smoky wood flavours on the palate and finish really puts this one up there with the top shelf ones. Sad that Ten Cane is history because they could really make unique flavours."
Cuvée Prestige
Top review from Stefan Persson:
"As a summary this is a very smooth and truly magnificent Rhum with scents and flavors of fruits, spices, oak, sugarcane and some hints of tobacco. It’s an older version of the Cuvée Prestige now sold in the blue wooden box."
Small Batch Rare Rums
Top review from Gunnar Böhme "Bauerngaumen" 🤓:
"Really very convincing Port Mourant. Only because of the incomplete tropical maturity not quite at the level of the PM 1993 from Velier with 65% (RX2729) tasted at the same time - but much more affordable (although also hard to find)."

Top review from crazyforgoodbooze:
"Incredibly good barrel strength Agricole! Extremely complex and intense after green and red chilies, some coconut, banana, honey, plum and cherry, as well as ginger and herbs. The whole thing continues the same way on the palate and the alcohol is surprisingly well integrated. In addition, not too woody for such an old agricole. It gets a bit smokier on the finish, with toasted coconut and some green chile coming back.... Damn this one is really fun! 🤤 Probably by far one of the best depaz of all time!"

"Heute unter tropischen Bedingungen im Manati Haus Tiergarten Nürnberg verkostet. Keine Ahnung, aber fand diesen weder scharfkantig noch alkoholisch wie so oft beschrieben in den Bewertungen. Vermutlich liegt das an der Temperatur und an der Luftfeuchtigkeit. Für mich jedenfalls ein leckerer Tropfen als Fazit. Danke Leo für das Sample."

Port Morant Demerara Rum
Top review from cigares :
"A rum tasted in a restaurant, the bottle well started. A superb nose, like a clubhouse with old varnished wood, a light smokiness coming from the fireplace, dried fruits on the counter. Big disappointment on the palate, which doesn't live up to its olfactory promises. Diluted but with a beautiful bitterness, a surprising vegetal side. The finish is short but elegant. The empty glass reveals the lost aromas with a lovely fruity woodiness."

Top review from jonathan.p🇫🇷:
"Nez sympa, mais en bouche c est plutôt moins bien! En bouche pâtisseries et peu de fruits et surtout un goût légèrement fumé. La fin est courte et sur les épices et pâtisseries. Bon franchement, pour moi, c est pas un grand rhum, mais ça se sirote."
Heavy Trinidad Rum
Top review from cigares :
Top review from Stefan Persson:
"A favorite unquestionably! It’s a complete explosion of flavors in mouth and it hangs on during the long finish. The nose is fruity and spicy with aromas of vanilla. At the palate it’s intense, complex, woody, spicy, peppery and sweet with flavors of licorice, vanilla and sugarcane."
Montebello Cuvée Prestige
Top review from Kevin Sorensen 🇩🇰:
"This one was a surprise. A complex rum yet a rum that's subtle and easy and smooth on the palate. The nose is very fruity with cane and candied fruits and a hint of licorice. The palate is very well balanced as well as complex, yet smooth. Fruity with spices, nuts and leather and a hint of tobacco, yum. The finish is medium to long with spices, raisin and tobacco. Price to quality is pretty good."
Marie Galante Rum
Top review from cigares :
"The nose is vegetal (rhubarb) and agricultural, with banana and other tropical fruits. On the palate, the attack is rather weak, like a hollow, then the aromas arrive with lime, bitter almond and caramel. The finish is fine and rather long, with fruit and vegetal notes. Another fine rum from Swiss bottler Guildive. When the glass is empty, a lot of smokiness and vegetal notes remain."
Venezuela 11+1

Kill Devil
Top review from cigares :
"This rum perfumes the room when poured. Cedar wood (cigar box) dominates the nose, but bergamot and prunes are not far off. A real taste of roast completes this atypical nose. The palate is initially almost entirely woody (cedar), with some prune and dried fruit remaining and a roasted base, like cooled roast fat on the finish. Astonishing! The finish is long and citrus reappears at the very end. Phew! The empty glass is complex and much more balanced than the mouth. A highly aromatic and far from uninteresting rum, but too dominated by a too monolithic expression of wood for my taste."

"Auf dem 11. GRF zusammen mit Leo Tomczak verkostet. Joa, kann man durchaus trinken - aber nur, wenn man dazu eingeladen wird. 😉 Ansonsten trotz der eleganten Verpackung leider viel zu teuer. Na gut, wer ein exquisites Geschenk sucht, ist bei dem Rum absolut richtig."

"Whisky & Rom Festival 2023 28.10.2023 This is a retaste and I still like it a lot. Very mellow and well balanced. ------------------- This is a nice Port Mourant and I like the heavy nose with a lot of flavours being released after 15+ minutes of rest. Ester, coffee and herbs moving towards a medicinal nose. The palate is also kind of heavy with a floral touch, fruits and leather follows and still has a medicinal note. The finish is long and warm and you can clearly taste the sherry from the 5 year sherry cask finish."

FPH Fernandes Rum
Top review from Frank:
"A beautiful piece. Matured for 20 years, that's quite something! I'm curious... Nose: intense, fruity, woody-spicy, slightly smoky-dirty, wonderfully integrated alcohol and really round and delicious. First the fruity component: Here a lovely sweet and at the same time sour mixture of green apple, gooseberry, red grape and red currant. There is also the freshness of mint. Also has a fine caramel note. Mint together with tobacco and light smoke then also achieve this typical light dirtiness. I like it very much. 8.9 Palate: Pure Trinidad DNA. Intense and powerful, slightly bitter at the very beginning and then the fresh mint fills the mouth. There are also slightly dirty notes of oil, iodine and singed plastic (almost sounds like Caroni 😏). Beautiful tropical fruit flavors emerge at the back, passion fruit and physalis. The mint and this slightly oily note linger wonderfully long on the tongue. Great old TDL, where you don't feel the 59%. 8.9"

Top review from Jakob:
"I do not really warm up to the Transcontinental line - this bottling also fits seamlessly into my picture of the series: Common vintages of well-known distilleries and Marques, but through the bank the bottled rum plays at best in the second league. Unfortunately, the same game here - for Diamonds from 2003 there is now a handsome selection, the present bottling finds itself at best in the lower midfield of the releases known to me. Rather disappointing."

"This is a cheap Caroni and a brilliant example that you get what you pay for. All the typical Caroni notes of rubber and tar are missing. This is not a bad rum, but in my mind not a Caroni. The nose is thin with light wood, vanilla and some nuts. The is a light roasted note with dried fruit and a faint earthy note. The palate is diluted/thin withe lightly roasted wood, dried fruit, vanilla and a hint of cocoa. Tha finish is medium with light roasted wood, vanilla and raisins. Price to quality is pretty good but it's not a Caroni :-)"

"Serge writes in a great review: "Nose: get out of here! Brand new Pirellis, two tons of rubber bands, and your sister's bicycle inner tubes. You see the idea...Mouth (neat): Ardbeg matured in a new scuba diving suit. Plus salt and lemon. The question is, do we enjoy this much rubber?" My answer a year ago: No, I found it undrinkable! In the meantime, the profile is a prime example of acquired taste. Compared to the 2005 PMs, it really is much dirtier: acetone, rubber, a hint of smoke - behind it the typical pome fruit and fresh sourdough bread. The aniseed note of the 2005s is missing. In the mouth, Serge hits the nail on the head: rubber, brine and a hint of lemon. My answer today: yes. Or to say it with Serge: "There's bad rubber and there's good rubber. This is good rubber.""

"#4472 15.11.2023 Sitting here thinking about mortality while enjoying a nice rum. Lost one of my young colleagues yesterday. At the same time major changes in our company has also started thoughts running around in my head. Remember to hug and cherish your family bacause you never know when it's your time. This rum is really nice and fruity with nice Agricole notes. Well balanced and ABV is well integrated. The palate is lightly oily with some chocolate. The finish is long and warm with some nice orange. The empty glass has some chocolate and light licorice."

Top review from Joachim Guger:
"Nice 97 profile. A little more solvent, also fine notes of tropical fruit at the end. However, it lacks a bit of power coming out of the glass. Great mouthfeel and then a long, fresh, very crisp finish. Funky! Easy-drinking Caroni, I like it very much. However, it lacks a bit of power."

"This is a lovely bottle and I'd like to have on or two of them on my shelves, but unfortunately that's not an option. Very fruity with smoky wood and vanilla. The palate is sweet and lightly bitter, yum, I love it. "

"Classic notes - oak, vanilla, caramel sweetness. Unfortunately, on the palate with a little too present alcohol and quite spicy. Can not convince completely and would therefore not be the first choice among the Foursquare bottlings."

"I had expected this one to be heavier in the profile, not that it's a bad Port Mourant, but I would have loved some more power. Lightly dry on the palate with some fruit and nuts. Kind of fresh for a PM actually and I get a floral note I can't put my finger on."

"Dove back into a retaste of this one and it's still a very good release. Despite the steep price of 1300, - euro I decided to buy this bottle and opened it for a taste after it arrived yesterday. Wow, this is a great rum, though expensive I must say it's almost a perfect rum."

"Now we're getting somewhere. This one is far better than the first one we tried. Heavier in a way and far more power in the flavours. The wood and spices are there as well as the salty ocean with fruits and licorice. At release the price to quality was very good."

"Round, continental Caroni that doesn't offend anywhere. The dirty notes are missing. However, some smoke does come through, which is unusual. However, it is fun and was affordable at the release price."

"The good old zacapa, worlds apart from the current bottlings. Significantly drier, woodier and more complex. Beautiful thing! Too bad that zacapa no longer produces like this..."

"#4498 24.11.2023 The price is a bit steep compared to what you get (in my mind). Lightly fruity with nice pastries and nutty notes. The palate is fresh and has nice cherry notes. The finish is medium long, lightly dry with nice spices. The empty glass has some vanilla and light caramel."

"Più lo bevo e più mi accorgo che è un grande rum! Un anno di siccità che ha portato un elevato grado zuccherino alla canna che è stata distillata per questo millesimato! Saint James l’ha imbottigliato in tempo per mantenere tutta la fragranza e la bontà di questa annata meravigliosa! Il legno è integrato alla perfezione ed è solo una coccola in più a questo magnifico rum!"

Top review from Oliver:
"Great intensity with spice and fruitiness (papaya and tangerine) on the nose. There are also floral associations. A bit biting on the palate with spice, salt and slight bitterness from the wood. With a few drops of water it opens up a bit more and is fun!Good Port Mourant!"
Marie Galante Rum
Top review from cigares :
Barbados XO
Top review from Stefan Persson:
"It’s recognizable as a Bajan rum, but sweeter. I think it’s quite similar to the “Plantation 20th Anniversary”, both are probably sweetened. So together with that it’s some of the worst rum, called Barbados rum I’ve ever tasted."
Panama Rum
Top review from crazyforgoodbooze:
"Banana split in flüssig, sehr Süffig! Im Abgang kommt eine mega geile Note von gegrillten Limetten, Eukalyptus Bonbons, Ananas und gegrillten Bananen. Für mich meine absolute top Panama Referenz! Sehr sehr lecker und ungewöhnlich aromatisch!"

Top review from Leo Tomczak:
"Altes Teil. Und sehr holzig. Leider zu alt und zu holzig. Hätte sicher 5 Jahre weniger im Fass vertragen. Gleichzeitig auch recht alkoholisch ohne viele andere Töne. Schade, ich hatte einen großen Rum erwartet aufgrund der Statistiken."
Single Cask
Top review from Tschusikowsky:
"Schöne Nase. Ein vollmundiger Rum mit Vielfalt. Luft tut ihm gut, ist besser ausbalanciert. Kräutrig, würzig, medizinal. Im Abgang gesellen sich noch gelbe Früchte und Tabaknotrn dazu. Komplexer geiler Rum, der aber dennoch easy sipping ist."
Ron Zacapa XO Premio Platino
Top review from Kevin Sorensen 🇩🇰:
"This release was bottled between 2002 and 2005 and it's virtually impossible to get your hands on one today. A very nice edition from Zacapa that also explodes in your mouth. They have released XO versions since this one but they're not an exact match though pretty close. "

"01.11.2019 Den Dansk Rom & Whiskyfestival This was my first visit to this two day event, where everything is included in the ticket. Also the first event where I have seen so many extremely drunk people. This event usually just has what's considered mainstream products, but luckily my friend had the right contacts so for a premium we had our own little collection to go through. Today I get free a free ticket if I want to attend 😊 A great Agricole with very good balance. The palate is medium dry with a fruity touch. The finish is medium to long with a nice grassy note."
HSE Single Malt Islay Finish
Top review from Quentin Leseigneur:
"A relatively classic, pleasant agricultural nose. Once on the palate, however, the peated whisky finish comes through, with its characteristic woody, smoky, toasty notes, all carried by a rather light alcohol content. Well-made, but not my personal favorite!"

"10.09.2021 Sitting at home with some samples. Notes Medium to dark in colour. Nose Light wood, sweet, cherry, faint licorice, light vegetal, faint citrus. Palate Light, wood, light citrus, faint floral, light medicinal, spice. Finish Medium long, wood, flora, citrus, faint medicinal, light cherry. Extra note. A very atypical J.M."
Ron Zacapa Centenario 30 Aniversario
Top review from Jakob:
"Very round, if you want to give this attribute to the distillate's lack of expression. I am left with little more than astonishment that this product - which is undeniably pleasant to drink - was once described as the best of the best in the rum sector. Yes, this assessment is highly subjective; but if you take even half the aromatic complexity of other distillates as a criterion, this earlier classification seems hardly comprehensible. However: subjectively speaking, I think the distillate is overrated, but I don't begrudge anyone the pleasure that they individually associate with it."
Single Cask XO Rum - Traditional Reserve
Top review from Mirco:
"Classic Spanish style. Unfortunately, a less intoxicating bottling that I would never have blindly guessed to be 20 years old. Little flavor volume with poorly integrated alcohol. I only have limited sympathy for this rum."

Finish Medium to long, wood, fruity, ester, fruits, faint chocolate."
